Got an email from Microcenter that says 20%-50% off original xbox titles. No titles are listed, just states "hundreds of xbox titles".

I'm a little bit suspicious of what, exactly, this entails. Microcenter's site doesn't list a single title on sale besides "bargain bin" items, which are so old that they might as well be given away.

It could just be a total XBox clearance (which would make sense), but the lack of any specifics makes me think we're going to see a Circuit City-esque clearance, in which dozens of titles no Microcenter has carried in months are dirt cheap.

Yeah, and anyone who could get to those locations ROFL'd all the way home after buying their 360s for $300 a few months ago. Micro Center has some good deals. It's about as close to Fry's as you can get around here.

Doubt it's worth a drive down there for 20-50% off there extremely crappy, Wal-Mart style game pricing.

Yeah 90 % of Microcenter's deals are in-store only. There web-site is terrible and there shipping is high, luckily Marietta rates a B&M store.

Aside: However, they did this awesome $20 wireless 360 controller deal and it was one of the best door-busters ever. I saw so many people with shopping carts full of controllers, chargers and HD-DVDs that day. It was funny. I was glad I got my bag full. Sadly, they should have set a limit of 4, I fear many controllers ended up resold on eBay preventing most gamers from getting in on the deals.

If you look at the email, it says some intermediate markdowns may have been taken from the original price, so I don't think many of these prices changed but here's the list anyway. Yeah, silly me, I didnt read the email with the "intermediate markdowns may have been taken" disclaimer and just headed out to MC. Pretty much all the prices were in line with what you could find elsewhere. Not to mention that the only games I really was interested in (kotor, kotor2, fable:LC) werent even in stock. Almost picked up a Mac mini though (~$500). They're so cute....
