does anyone know about the microcenter rebate deal for the xbox 360? 'cause it seems that they have sold out of the 360's...unless i'm seeing wrong.

ok then, microcenter is offering a $100 rebate on the xbox 360 premium or core system. does anyone happen to know if they are sold out?

first off which microcenter and its not online and the microcenter in columbus is NOT sold out, we have about 1200....where did u figure that we sold out

C) Call your local store and ask about numbers. Outside of a few workers at certain locations we're about as knowledgable about actual stock as a monkey, although we'll have a somewhat better estimation.


Honestly, just grab a phone and make a call. It'll take 40 seconds and you'll know if they have stock.

The one in Santa Clara has about 800 left as of yesterday they told me. Make sure to get the newer model xbox360s though. They have both the 'older' model and the newer model. You can tell by the sku # or just looking at the gaems on back of the box. For example, The older ones have madden06 display while the newer ones have madden 07. Not really sure if the older and newer models of the machines really matter.

most stores received 2000 systems in one huge shipment...chances are they are still available.

As was mentioned earlier, pick up a phone and make a call and go read the microcenter thread in the xbox 360 forum.

it's a damn shame, as i'm not near a microcenter right now, but by mid-december i'll be back near the one in minnesota, alas too late, and with that and the amazon deal gone i dont think there's any more cool Xbox360 console deals out there left, unless someone knows of another one?
