I'd guess so, unless it comes out in 2014, which is a distinct possibility. To be honest, after Gears 3 I'm not excited for Judgment at all.

I think new system will launch in 2014. Judgment will probably be the last major exclusive though

They did say it would come out in early 2013, but then again, Gears 3 was supposed to come out early last year too, and we all know it got pushed back.

I think 2013 will be too soon for the next XBOX, I'm guessing it will be on 2014. There's also rumors of the next Gears already being worked on with the new Unreal engine that was showcased this year possibly for launch of the new system.
 
I am not getting into an argument here, but it annoys me that when people talk next gen, everyone assumes next gem means better graphics. People get excited over a lot of stuff, such as more life like physics, more stuff on screen without slow downs, etc. Not everyone is just talking about graphics when they mention next gen consoles\games.
 
I am not reaching into the future, and I am not one for stopping development to wait for the new consoles, but a lot of stuff they are planning or the new consoles most likely can't be done on current consoles. Of course the new IP's can, because they are being made for current gen consoles, lol.

I don't see why people don't have the right to be excited for the future. It's their business if they want to look into the future. Nobody has the right to tell anyone what to get excited over.

But I looked forward the Halo 9 and Gears of War 7, the Sonic reboot and another 4 CODs. Everyone wants next gen consoles but lets not kill off any real creative just because you want prettier graphics. Its been proven time and time again that you dont need the highest hitting hardware to produce fantastic new IPs. There was a little game called Portal that was invented during this console cycle that got 2 award winning games done without crazy high end specs. Not all of us bust a nut just for time of the line gear.....some of us still want games with good stories in them.[/QUOTE]

What dont you understand about developers wanting to use the latest tech for their IPs?

Something something about upgrading video cameras I don't know.
