Microsoft ruins boy's one-of-a-kind 360
Yes it voids Msoft warranty. But you can still get it fixed by others.

Or you could have got a in store warranty that would allow you to just switch out the xbox with a working no questions asked.

Again, there are many many ways he could have gone about this. No excuse.

Also, the case is what is important to him not the xbox itself. If you care so much about the case...switch it out with another one and take it back to a store.

Also I have and have seen people send in xbox without the warranty sticker. I had a custom xbox cover that I took off and replaced with the original one when it bricked. Sent it in and got a new one. Proceeded to take off the original for my custom on again.
Last i checked, his 360 was still under warranty? If that's the case, then your ENTIRE argument is mute. Just because you were able to get a dumbass to accept your voided 360 doesn't mean everyone will.

Would that dumbass be mute as well? :lol:
I'd make these things you could snap on the front of cases and call them "faceplates". It'd be awesome, you could have whatever you wanted on the "faceplate" and swap 'em out with different "faceplates". ;)
They already have those. The "faceplates" aren't the whole case, which is what i was suggesting.

Ya darn tootin'.

This and fixing the Halo 3 melee has rekindled my love for the number 7.

Here is the real question, why does this man/boy carry his 360 around with him everywhere. First off, that thing is freaking heavy. And second, no wonder it broke with him dragging it around to get signed by people.

I don't think he does it frequently. Probably a one time thing, some convention of some sort.

Well he got a ton of signed items.

Included in the Halo swag bag were :

* Legendary Edition Helmet signed by most–if not all–of the studio staff
* Halo 3 Soundtrack (two disc) signed by Marty O’Donnel (with “DO NOT ERASE!” written under his name)
* Bungie Jacket
* Bungie T-Shirt
* Halo 3 Messenger Bag
* Two Halo 3 Limited Edition Wireless Controllers (one covenant, one human)
* Halo 3 Faceplate and Skins for Xbox 360
* Four McFarlane Action Figures (MC, EVA Spartan, Brute Chieftan, Jackal Sniper)
* Halo Actionclix Preview pack (Target exclusive sticker on the front)
* Halo Actionclix Game Pack 4
* Halo 3 Wall Graffix
* Halo 3: Ghosts of Onyx Novel
* Halo Graphic Novel
* Halo 3 Wristband
* Halo 3 Hackeysack

But in his letter though he said through my travels meaning he had to of taken it along more then once.

Personally I think the guy is a moron and really shouldn't of got anything he did. I'm sorry, but if you have a game console signed by multiple game developers, you don't play with it daily and then send it in for repair. If I had a Super Bowl football signed by the 2008 Giants, I wouldn't play with it in the park then get PO'd when my friend losses it or ruins it.

I would, because the Giants are a fucking joke.

Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

that sucks. its not too smart though to have an attachment to a video game console, especially one by Microsoft....stuff like this is bound to happen.
