MIghty no. 9 Signature edition 47.99 (Amazon prime discount shown in cart)

Did the most of that 4M go into budgeting Comcept the company? Game looks decent enough for a PSN flash sale, just not 4M lol.

Hell, who am i kidding, Inafune bought himself a Bugatti with that money.

To be fair, it's insane that Vanillaware's minuscule budgets can produce games that look as good as they do -- that's just the benefit of having absurdly talented artists on staff (praise Kamitani). It's also worth mentioning that their games, although I like them, are gameplay-wise often nothing special, and usually focus on repetitive grinds.

That Odin Sphere remake is real good, though. Fixed almost every problem with the original game.

You didn't factor in this..

Now we know where the money went.

EDIT* Guess they weren't paying attention.... LOL

The best wasbacker no. 5040 who wanted to be credited under the handle "Kamiya was right" a reference to a sick burn by Bayonetta and Viewtiful Joe creator Hideki Kamiya, who famously tweetedthat Mega Man and Mighty No. 9 creator Keiji Inafune is "a business man. Not a creator."

Sold off the extras from my MN.09 Sig. Edition and decided to keep the game. Just started it and... it's REALLY fun. The game's ugly, the story is stupid (when has a Mega Man story really been good, though?), but the controls are precise and the speed of the gameplay is very fun. The hate isn't justified at all. This is a spiritual successor to Mega Man through and through.

Are we playing the same game?

I'm surprised people are buying this garbage special edition. The quality of Beck's Figure is one of the worst in a while.

That was the reason I sold all that crap. The figure has some weight to it, which was nice, but the paint (at least on mine) was horrible. It was a shoddy job.

Mine is painted pretty well. Only issue I can really see is one of the hands has a small white line going across it. Outside of that though I thought it was painted fine.

As far as the game goes.... So far I'm enjoying it but it's definitely super sub par when compared to mega man games. The gameplay is definitely less fluid than in the MM games and level design has some serious issues here. Overall I'm enjoying it though. Haven't played a mega man game in years so I welcome it.

The funny thing is, why have a statue of a figure that will never see another game?  After all of this there is no way there will ever be a sequel, I'd be surprised if they actually complete another game.  It is only collectible if people want it.  The game isn't nearly as bad as people are saying, but Comcept found a way to screw up even the most mundane parts of this release.

Well after seeing how well they handled this campaign, is it any surprise the quality of the figure was poor?

You mean by every professional gaming journalist who wrote about what a piece of shit this game is
You must be new to reviews. Here, let me tell you how they work. First IGN writes a review. If they're not paid off by the developers they normally just trash the game whether it's good or not. Then everyone else copies whatever IGN said in their review just so they can fit in.

And it's so obvious the only reasons everyone is hating on the game so much is because of the whole Kickstarter campaign, the delays and the whole "you'll have them crying like a anime fan on prom night" thing. None of which have anything to do with the actual game. If people would just stop acting like children and get over all of it and actually just play the game they'd realize it's actually a pretty fun game. But that'll never happen because 'gamers' now are apparently nothing but blind anime loving IGN fanboys that are just going to keep crying like it's prom night for the rest of their lives.
