Mini Ninjas Thread

CAGiversary!
Ok, so am I the only one who is interested in this game? No threads for PS3, not much in the blogs--is this game supposed to be stupid and I'm out of the loop? It's supposed to come out in September (I'm pretty sure); I thought there would be more talk about it.

The trailers look great for the game, especially the HD cinematic ones on PSN. The gameplay looks good. Some aspects remind me a little of Sonic the Hedgehog--when you kill enemies, they turn into animals that scurry away--except that it's in 3D.

I think it's one of the many games that's kind of fallen to the shadows. There's a lot of amazing looking games taking the forefront, and this one has just been brushed to the side.

I will say I'm looking forward to it though. It does look fun as all Hell :)

Played the demo of the game. It was fun... Dont' think I'll buy it until it's at least 1/2 price or more. It's a good game, but with all the other games coming out, I have to choose wisely...

Is this a downloadable game or will it be at retail? I like the demo. Didn't like the switching ninja part though, only really need the 1st guy.

This will be a full retail game with disc, etc.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game, but I'll be waiting for a price drop before buying. Kind of feel bad about doing that, but I'm broke >.

The demo is surprisingly fun, though the graphics aren't going to floor anyone (the color palette is really nice though). It seems like a "My First Ninja Gaiden" type game. For what price is it going to retail?

I can't put my finger on it, the graphics are "good" but it looks kind of strange to me. I really like the water effects though; the trailers really looked awesome.

The game is still worth getting when the price drops. If there weren't so many games coming out, I'd definitely get the game.

I liked running around as the bear, panda, or boar and killing guys in the demo.

It's too bad this is a cross platform game, I really wish the developers would have made the game look like the trailers looked. I was so excited when I saw the trailers and cut scenes, but when the demo came out, it didn't turn out to look as nice (kind of made it not worth the $60 for me, but worth about $30 or less IMO).

If Dark Void or Dante's Inferno gets bad reviews, I'll cancel my pre-order and buy Mini Ninjas.

Well, at least the game's MSRP is $49.99 & I'm guessing it's price will drop pretty quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see it for $39.99 by the Christmas.

Also, the game really is geared for younger gamers. I've read a few interviews with the developers & they point blank said they were trying to create a game their young kids could play & yet the parents could also enjoy.

Nothing wrong with that IMO. I suppose they did something right with the game to still have piqued some interest in the "mature" gaming community ;')

after playing the demo I had the urge to play psone classic spyro. I dunno, I really liked the simplicity of the game but the numerous amount of hidden things available to find. If it comes around the $20 price point, I'll pick it up in a heart beat. My 3-yr. old has this new interest to want to play games with me but he's found out that his contoller is never really doing anything :) This game is too hard but we could pass the controller back and forth and he would be my excuse for picking this game up.

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with games that can work for both younger and older folks. Ratchet and Clank, Mario, etc. are the same way. I really like the concept of the game and the way it looks.

I realized I said it wasn't worth 60 and then remembered it was 49. If I didn't have a ton of games pre-ordered, I'd get this game (Prof. Layton 2, LittleBigPlanet GOTY edition, Uncharted, Muramasa, ModNationRacers, Dark Void, Dante's Inferno, Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks all pre-ordered; also wanting the New SMB Wii, Mario Galaxy 2, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow).. Too many games, too little time and money :(

I cant wait to get my 360 again to play this game.
So the trailer when watching Four Christmases and fell in love.
Thought it was a movie the trailer was so good.

Right now im waiting for Game Fly to send me this game as i just got an email.

Can't wait and will be posting a blog.
