Mini SD card help for mobile phones.

I'm looking to buy this phone:

the sanyo 5600. It has not been released yet, but it does support mini SD cards. I would like to buy an mini SD card for it around 256mb to 1gb in size, 1gb preferably. Now I'm looking for one and I see a variety of mini SD cards on websites that do not physically resemble one another. Could someone explain to me which are the mini SD cards for mobile phones, which are the better brands, and any possbile deals on these cards. Thank you in advance.

sandisk mini sd are usualy the best, not just for sd, but i usualy find less freezing up / errors on sandisk built card / memory... now as for the sizes, ALL minisd cards are the same size, the pictures could be wrong or you could be looking at different memory formats (transflash, mini sd, normal sd, ect.) best buy carries them, so if you match it up with a 10% off accesories coupon (which they do frequently) that may be the best route...

SD stands for Secure Digital. Its main use is in digital cameras, it is a small memory card.
