Minor Moral Dilemma

My dad is a recently retired prison guard. Since he worked for the state, in a maximum security prison no less, he got to retire after 20 years service. So he retired last April, and since then he's been working odd jobs (since the pension doesn't exactly cut it for a 4 person family).

Most frequently, he works with his friend's tree service, doing exactly what you're talking about... cutting down trees, hauling logs, grinding stumps and the like. Anyway, I'm just making the point that I'm kind of familiar with the situation. And if you want my opinion... it would be a great gesture on your part to send them the money.

Bear in mind, you're not losing anything... you're just paying what you owed (minus the cost of gutter repair). 150$ will pay one of the employees for the entire day's work. Fact is, if you recognize a moral dilemma, then one exists and in my opinion it would be in your best interest to reconcile it.

I'm shocked they went along with a deduction from their services. Most service companies like that have to be bonded and insured themselves against such incidents. Another consideration is they could have given in because they filed a claim themselves with their insurance and already have the cash back.

I have a minor moral dilemma myself.

I recently disemboweled and dismembered my hot cheerleader neighbor. While bringing her head back home (to have sex with, of course) I accidentally dripped blood on my roommates new rug. I've tried cleaning it up but you all know how tough blood is to get out. So, I flipped the rug over. That wa sa week ago. But eventually he'll find out. So do I....

1) Replace the rug in secret.
or
2) Tell him I cut myself, and offer to pay for the rug myself.
or
3) Just leave it and hope for the best.

I know, you're probably wondering why I don't just kill him too. But it's such a bitch finding a good roommate and I can't afford rent on my own.

Convince him that you 2 should get life insurance policies on each other, then tell him. then depending on his reaction, you should kill him. its a win win situation.
