A guy at work asked me how much a Mint boxed Atari 2600 would go for?
I told him I'll look around. He told me, him and his bro put it on ebay to see how much it would go for and said it got as high as $190.00. I don't know why he didn't sell it though?

I forgot to ask if he had any games. I'll check with him again tomorrow.

He lied. Unless it's sealed in the box, it would have trouble breaking the $50 mark. It could be a 2600 Jr., and in that case it may have drawn a bit more, but $200? Not a chance.

The boxed system alone wouldn't get over $50 unless it was unopened. Even then, I doubt he would get anywhere near $200.

It matters the style -- if it's an original Sunnyvale "Heavy Sixer", then there could be a nice market for it.
