MISSING PARTS TO GENESIS

I HAVE THE SEGA GENESIS 16-BIT BUT I ONLY HAVE THE AC ADAPTER. IS THERE A WAY TO HOOK IT UP THRU MY VCR,DVD OR DO I NEED THE ORIGINAL HOOK UPS?

A nintendo RF adapter will work
 
You can buy replacement r/f or RCA cables for the Genesis on eBay, of course. I think the a/v cables are different for the different Genesis models, though, so be careful. I have a used set of RCA cables for the Genesis Model 1 (the large, cool-looking one) that I'd sell for $5 shipped (send me a PM if you're interested).
