You get a replica signed Infinity Ward Poster with pre-order. The posters are in stores now (I just went and picked mine up). According to an ad the newest game informer there are supposedly only 200,000 (*heavy sarcasm here*) of these badboys lol :wall:

Haha! Or you could just, I mean, sign up on the call of duty website and get a free beta token like I did the past two times. Didn't cost me a dime AND I didn't give my money to GS. Win-win right there! :D;):applause:

On a side note, I hope the LE's come with some decent stuff for a change like a couple weapons/maps and a nice tin case or something.

I won't pay $80 for the CE unless it equals or exceeds the Fallout 3 CE in terms of value.

Fallout 3 CE is my new standard for $80 CE's.

no kidding. I preordered anyways but if the CE is weak I'm changing to regular but it's highly unlikely considering it's IW.

The WaW CE was kinda weak. I mean a canteen you CAN'T use, a giant tin case to keep it all in and a code for a gun you have to unlock anyways once you make past a certain level...OH but you get to have gold lettering on your clan tag!!!

COD4 had a Bonus DVD with a level walkthrough commentary, Making Of features AND a documentary of the SAS, A hardcover artbook of the game art WITH commentary by the developers.

Infinity Ward FTW folks...All Treyarch is good at is just rehashing old games. The only reason they had a good multiplayer setup is because a couple of guys from IW helped them out on it.
 
I have only played COD4 for about a couple dayd, because of my massive backlog...but I could tell, it was worth the money. Great gameplay, loads of fun on multiplayer. Sure 50-60 maybe expensive for a game... but think of all the hours you will put in.

I know games like rock band, cod...or mmos, have great value/fun factor!

Plus, just look at modern warfare, it hasnt budged much from its release day price. I would just get this on release day instead of waiting like a year for a 10 dollar drop.
 
I think neither Infinity Ward nor Treyarch deserve the community bashing they get. Both are good developers and both have their strengths. I have no doubt that Modern Warfare 2 will be an excellent game and once Treyarch moves out of Infinity Ward's shadow, hopefully, with COD7, I have no doubt they'll make an excellent game as well.

And for what it's worth, why complain? One game from Treyarch and one game from Infinity Ward. You have options. Options are a GOOD thing.

Looks like Amazon is also selling the CE, and I think the ECA discount would be a much better deal than a poster with pre-printed signatures.

I picked up a poster. It's cool *shrug* Just another trinket to add to my game room.

I'm really hoping to be first in line for beta tokens like I was in COD4 though. I skipped WaW, even though I bought it...ugh.

You can always move your pre-order money to another game tho can't you? I really need to go pre-order one of these before they run out, if they haven't already.
