Modern Warfare 3 $51.99 at Bestbuy.com and Amazon
So is it ringing up in-store at BB at that price? And has anyone had luck PM kmartgamer.com $110 in purchases to get the $50 giftcard deal? I have read that when BB does the PM it is an instant discount rather than a giftcard but extremely YMMV on getting them to do the PM.
It is not ringing up at the store for that price, you have to get it matched to the site (they 100% do this and it states it in their price matching policy so if the first person says no ask them to double check (nicely) and you'll likely get a yes). The gaming manager was working when I went in and said she was surprised more people weren't matching it (she already knew the price and didn't even go look it up).

What they typically do, if they price match it at all, is discount the game and then "sell you" a gift card for that value. I.e. $60 game w/$10 giftcard at another store will be $50 game and a $10 gift card on your receipt. So your total is still $60, but $10 of it is for the gift card.

Again, that's if they price match it in the first place.

Had no issue getting the $51.99 price matched. Also grabbed Gears 3 for $39.99 (price matched Sears). Course now that I just saw the Black Friday ad for Walmart I may be waiting till after Thanksgiving to open that so I can return it.

I would reword "honoring" as it implies (or at least to me) that they are supposed to PM GC deals.

Not usually one for symantics, but given the recent outbreak of people misinterpretting straight forward answers I thought I would say something. I would rather not spend the next 5 pages explaining the policies. But I understand what you meant

Picky bastard. I edited it just for you.

Thanks Budz and Jimmie. I knew it was a huge YMMV. Just remembered some people had cool managers who 'allowed' it even though it was NOT in the PM policy any longer. I guess it depends on how BB wants to appease its customers.

Has anybody received their Amazon pre-order price guarantee refund of $5? I've contacted them 3 times on this matter and still haven't received the refund. Chat session chick says the game department will be issuing the refunds by next week! It's supposed to be within 24-48 hours. Just one more way Amazon has really gone downhill this year.

Sorry if this has been asked but does anyone know how long you have to claim the $25 credit towards LIVE gold? The email I received says it must be purchased by 11/12 but Amazon's webpage says 11/19??
