I would imagine it works with most bluetooth devices, like any bluetooth headset.
 
That's actually a pretty good deal. I like the idea of a 360 headset that I can switch on the fly to answer cell phone calls with. Probably would have preferred the standard 360 one to a MW3 one, but since this is available now, I ordered it, Thanks OP.

Nor will it work on your PC or your MAC
Or in your fancy car that has bluetooth pairing.

It is a normal bluetooth device that also has the same wireless set up as a normal wireless Xbox 360 signal. Hence why you can switch between it and a phone call quickly. It will work with your phone, PC, PS3, whatever is bluetooth it will work with. It does not connect to your Xbox 360 using bluetooth.

Uhhh, the Sony 7.1 PS3 headset is NOT a Bluetooth headset. Nice of you to throw insults around and such without knowing what you're talking about.

Um, pretty sure the 7.1 headset is not using Bluetooth. I know you linked to some dude saying that, but do you have any actual objective proof?

This MW3 bt headset should work with the PS3 since it's designed to work as a standard BT headet, and the PS3 supports most/all bt headsets. The 7.1 headset was never advertised as a BT headset even if it may be using a BT signal (waiting for more proof of that)

I saw on a review for it that it uses a USB dongle connected to the ps3 to work. So I guess it's connected just like a turtle beach one would be on the xbox just on the ps3 and not Bluetooth.

As you can see, the 7.1 headset does NOT use bluetooth. Why would they make a bluetooth dongle, when the PS3 has bluetooth built in?
 
I'm really tempted to get this, but I really don't want to get anything MW3, not even getting the game. Anyone know when the Microsoft one is coming out?

$50 is really steep for a Bluetooth headset that's an unknown quantity. And we don't even have any reviews to attest to its quality or capabilities.

I would spring for the official Sony Bluetooth and/or 7.1 headsets instead. That way, you get guaranteed compatibility with your PS3, and it's guaranteed to provide good voice quality in PS3 games.
 
This is exactly what I want in features and price.. just not the one sided MW3 style.

Anyone know where to find a full padded headset that's still wireless and blutooth? (that also works on xbox/PC/cell blutooth)

I'm in for 1. I tried the last wireless headset a while ago and it was crap. Hopefully this one is better. I like the idea that I can take calls from my phone while playing Xbox.

Hopefully it's much better than the last one.
