Monitor Help Please!

I'm looking to add a second monitor to my setup. Prices are $230 and $260 respectively.

I'm currently running a 20" Acer and Radeon 4800 gpu.

Looking for some advice on which of these (or another 27") is best and some reassurance my radeon can handle the job of two monitors.

Your gpu should be ok handling 2 monitors.  It really depends what you want to do with them though. It also depends on your main cpu and ram. If they're not up to par then it can lag (again, depends what you want). 

Usually Dell is better for graphical works (photography/video, etc).  The LG is a good buy to get and their IPS panels are great.  My sister's boyfriend bought the 23" version and no complaints.

Forgot to mention. Amazon has Asus 24in monitor for sale for $169.  You could get 2 of these for the price of the dell. It has pretty good reviews too.

The DELL beats the LG on everything except response time (7ms vs 5ms).  DELL has the edge in brightness, power consumption and a couple others, including 2 USB ports the LG doesn't have.  Couldn't find direct comparison for contrast ratio, but otherwise max resolution, colors, and other vital specs are identical.  2ms response is almost imperceptible, so I'd probably lean towards the DELL.
