I think I have the original Monkey Island for DOS... it's on some floppies, if I can recall correctly.

Okay, I found them. Monkey Island is on a compilation that includes some other games. Here's a (very) short description:

Look for a combo called Monkey Island Madness. Hard to find, just like everything else, but it does exist.

Monkey Island Madness was going for quite a lot on eBay when I last checked. I think it's MI 1 and 2, plus a demo (?) of 3.

Only a couple up now, even disk only copies are going for $20-$30. Only 2 up right now, this one is up to $40 (American).

Ooh, interesting, that one has a different cover from mine. I obtained mine through a mail-in offer included with Monkey Island 3 way back in the day. It's just a plain jewel case with a white manual. Since I had the DOS versions on floppies, I've never used the disc.
