My roomy bought these Monster HDTV cables and ended up not needing them. Of course, he didn't keep the receipt, so he asked me to sell them.

These are definitely not "an absolute necessity". Try truth in advertising. There are numerous component cables that will work just as well.
 
Monster Cables are really nice, but for the most part, they are highly overated. You can try to do an auction on ebay, but no one is going to pay anything above half price for open items.

I hate this area of the forum sometimes. Why do people like you come into threads and act like idiots?

They ARE a necessity if you want your Xbox to output to HDTVs in high resolution. Yes, other cables offer HDTV support, but Monster Cables are by far the best on the market. My point wasn't that THESE PARTICULAR cables are the only ones that do it, but that in general you need HDTV cables to get HDTV support.

What the fuck is your problem man?

Well nobody has even made an offer on how much they'd pay. I'll take a good offer but nobody seems to want to haggle ever. C'mon people my $40 price point isn't set in stone here. :)

No.. when someone is trying to sell some cables for more than they're worth, and then has a comment about these cables being a necessity.. yea, you're going to get shitty replies. If you had said, these cables provide HDTV support and are highly rated, thats fine.. but there are numerous (less expensive) cables that do as good as a job if not better.

And saying you're comment just implied that you needed component cables to get HDTV support.. I don't buy that. If you have an HDTV and don't know that.. go back to analog, and that's definitely not the way it was worded.

And since Amazon has them for $40 shipped new I'll drop the price to $30 shipped.

Before I change the deal or the price again or whatever, let me first ask this - does anyone NEED these cables on this board? Is there anyone out there with an HDTV and an Xbox who hasn't gotten the HDTV cables yet? Let me know.
