sorry, made this thread to fast. its a branch off of the link in the first post.

Is it right to buy a system say... the ps3, and sell it on ebay for 2000$ usd? this is the post i would have made if i were a troll and wanted to ruin the ps3 scalping thread.

So all the economic laws regulating the stock market after were just fluff? It may not be a sole reason, but it was a factor. Rather then saying I’m wrong, please enlighten me. Give me your truth and knowledge.

If you want the world around you to be honest and truthful, you must first start with yourself. If you don’t want big companies to take advantage of you, like when the people fleeing from hurricane Katrina, and the gas companies raised the price about 2x the amount. Their wasn’t enough gas to go around as everyone wanted to leave, but it still wasn’t right to bump up the price, just like i think it isn’t right to buy a console if you don’t intend to play it. If you were a company, and you payed 5 guys to stand it line for 300$ for a ps3, and then you sold the ps for 1200$ at your legitimate store front the same day, would you get in trouble. You would be getting a profit of 300$ per a system, thats pretty good in terms of profit per a unit.

I don’t know i don’t know the law, but if target decided to sell the system for 1200$, would it be right of them to do so? How about every item that’s low on stock. No if they could i know they would, so their must be something keeping them from doing that. It might be Sony, or it might be federal laws, but one most ask themselves, if they sell a ps3 on eBay, are they exempt from this restriction or not?
