Well, they kind of have to for a while since the cerberus network to require it is included in new copies and cost $15 to activate if you buy used, so they have to give that some value if they want anyone to pay the $15, or to buy new instead of used etc.

But good news in any case. Good to see this game getting DLC already when the first one only got the 2 DLC packs which was a let down.
