Most Over-hyped GAMING thing ever

I agree with the N-Gage. I have never ever seen anyone have one or for that matter ever buy one when i go to a v-game stores, which is quite often. I also would say Daikatana. Halo also deserves to be in the overhyped range, because it was said to be the Xbox's shining glory, its crowning achievement, it would beat Goldeneye, the best game on the Xbox, or for that matter the best game on this generation. Eh Baloney. That game isn't that great at all, other tahn the music and visuals,, the game is that great. Very linear and monotonous with your typical sci-fi story. I guess I should add that on Legendary the A.I. was incredible and actually sort of made the game a little bit fun.

Driv3r is a crappy game but it definitley wasn't over hyped in fact I didn't see a single ad for it and bareley any previews

I saw a guy at one place BUY it! Yeah I'm dead serious. I even heard one guy said he thought it was "cool", that or the idea of it. Too bad shit like "Bomberman" and "Virtua Cop" is being wasted on it. I need to fish out the phone # to the EB where the guy doesn't have a problem with it. Would ya'll be willing to flood the store with "interest" towards the N-Gage? :wink:
 
Haha, I went to a bar after work the other day and finally found ONE person who owned an N-Gage. He was OUT IN PUBLIC, and PLAYING WITH IT at the bar. People at the bar were making fun of him for owning it. I'll bet he would have felt less ashamed if he had caught playing with something else at the bar.
 
You know something is truly craptastic (N-Gage) when even the people working at gamestop are trashing it. They're supposed to hype everything, its their job practically, but one day I was in a gamestop and they were trashing it hardcore.
 
Lately, BloodRayne 2 is getting a lot of press (with the Playboy layout and such). There is a lot of hype generated about this game.

But seriously, the first game was stupid. The girl was good but the graphics and the plot sucked eggs. Judging from the screenshots for Bloodrayne 2, it doesn't look like they upgraded the game too much.

It may not be the most-overhyped game there is but it is over-hyped.
