Been dying to get my hands on this game, and this demo makes me want to buy it even more! Great visuals and great control of the bike. Also, it's Xbox Live enabled, so download now and I'll see you CAGs on the track!:cool:


Note: huge-ass demo, so set aside a big chunk of time to dl it.
 
Cool. Liked the first one, never played the second.

Absolutely agreed on remote downloading. I guess we can always dream...maybe someday with Live Anywhere.

Yeah, the GP driver they give you can't turn to save his life, and the Extreme 1000 driver they give you can turn on a dime and give you change back. Wish they would've given more racers/tracks, but oh well..this is good.
 
Please tell me it has the course with the long straight-away at the beginning and then the hairpin turn. The pile-ups on that one are hilarious.

Awesome. Probably not the best level to give to people who are just trying out the game though. This game can be frustratingly hard for beginners.
 
Wow, this is actually downloading at a decent pace unlike 2 days ago where it took me all day to download the Lost Planet Demo and Uno...

5 hours later, it's finally done..

And I'm sure it'll be like Lost Planet.. it'll work fine for a day, then freeze every other time.

Maybe its the fact I have yet to see motion blur on the straight aways. :cry:

I'm not sweating it though... if I remember correctly it was even on the first game. They will probubly throw it in later... still pretty bad ass demo.
 
Anyone up for a mass multiplayer session tonight? Haven't played multi yet, but I remember the trailer saying that there was 16player online.

Hell yeah! Count me in for sure. Like the rest of you guys, I'm sucking pretty bad at the moment, but hopefully after spending some time with it tonight, I'll be able to keep up. I'll add you guys to my list... my tag is: swift fix

Set up your controls for right trigger accelerate and left trigger front brake, don't ever use the normal Brake option and don't use the rear brake unless you completely bonk a turn. If you need to, go through the tracks very slow and work your way up in speed. Also, the powerslide sensitivity for me is usually at 5 or 6.
 
Well, working early tommorow, so I could be on tommorow night, but I probably wont get home till about 11PM Central on sunday.

I'm hoping they have a lot to add / fix. While I am enjoying the demo a whole lot, I have noticed quite a bit of tearing.
 
I don't like the game much either.....maybe TOO much like a sim racer. Never been a big street-bike racing game anyways. Still ok though.

Yesss there are a lot of things that the past games have had that the will add to the full version. Also, the game will be much better with 20+ tracks and riders and a lot more options to choose from. This demo is nowhere near as good as the full game will be.
