Mouse and Keyboard Suggestions?

Kind of a strange suggestion thread, but I need a mouse and keyboard that are more ideal for gaming. I'm just using a cheap $20 Logitech mouse designed for a laptop and a wireless MS keyboard.

If I can get a combo for a decent price, that would be cool, otherwise I can live with my keyboard. The mouse is more important.

I'm not looking for anything crazy expensive either. $30 or 40 for a mouse? 50 or 60 for a combo?

The best mouse on the market in my opinion is the G400/s (G400s just goes to 4000 DPI whereas the G400 goes to 3600). It's got an absolutely perfect sensor. I cant use anything else because other mice, specifically those with a laser, all have inherent acceleration that cannot be removed. The G400/s is optical and has zero accel which is key for stuff like FPS games.

As for a keyboard that's really not as important. If you're on a tight budget I'd say spend the $40 or so for a G400/s and then grab a cheap Logitech or something along those lines. A mechanical keyboard would be ideal, but not if you're on a budget.

Does that G400 only come in wired?
G400 is not wireless. The G700 is wireless tho. I can stand by what SEH said about the G400 mouse, great mouse.

If you don't mind me asking, are you playing FPSes, RTSes, or MMORPGs? Since The only reason for getting a gaming keyboard (that I can think of is) having the extra keys to program macros.

I can't play RTS or MOBA games that require furious clicking. My wrist is wrecked from years of gaming and graphic design. I honestly will probably end up using a controller for most of my gaming.

Otherwise I would be playing just about anything else. I am not specifically looking for a gaming keyboard so much as a different one. I have a keyboard that is a wireless MS keyboard but its more compact so the F keys are super small.
