Move info from one PS3 To Another

I have the big bulky metal gear solid 80 gig PS3 and I just bought the new 160 slim PS3 via wally world's 100 gift card promo. I really dont have alot on the hard drive at all, but Long story short how do I get my game saves/arcade games to my new console. i am NOT looking to share them or anything like that, i am going to be ebaying or selling to a friend of mine my old console, so all i want to do is move game saves and the couple of arcade games i have bought to the new console. Is it just as simple as using an SD card and transfering everything that way? Is there a download history type thing I can access to find everything i bought and paid for and just redownload it. Please tell me this is going to be quick and painless.

use a ethernet cable and the data transfer thingy in the ps3 menu then just deactivate your accounts on old one and your done. dl history is saved in you account info
