A recall would be possible. They recall sets for dumb reasons sometimes. They just recalled the Bill & Ted 3-disc set because on the phone booth, there is an obviously fake 555 phone number that when you call it (1-800-555-6969) you get a phone sex line or something.

Also, DavisDVD (I think that's the website) has a corrected cover for the GB set, so they might just start shipping the corrected sets.
I doubt they are going to recall the GB boxset over messing up the AR on the back. Trust me, it would of been done already if they were going to recall it. Most likely those "goofed" up versions will sell then they'll just ship out the "fixed" ones to replace those.

Now I am thinking that maybe the 1.33:1 box is to represent the cartoons, with the anamorphic widescreen box to represent the films. Obviously, there was a mixup. However, if you look at the slim cases on the discs themselves, it states that GB1 is in widescreen.

I just watched bits of both movies, and the new transfer is fantastic. No color blooming or problems on my flatscreen HDTV. On part 1, the only problem with the transfer is that during darker scenes, there is a lot of film grain. That's excusable though, considering the age of the film. Part 2 is pretty much perfect, since it's a younger film.

The Real Ghostbuster cartoons look and sound OK. The sound lacks life, though, but what can you expect from an old cartoon? Also, the clarity of the video points out various animation flubs and such, but I guess that's a good thing.

Great value for $12.99. I also picked up Over the Top for $7.50, and the latest Nine Inch Nails DualDisc for $11.99.
