20 bucks for all three jurassic parks and a movie ticket to king kong, not bad
$15 at Target, I'm just wondering if the Target one comes with the ticket too

GGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..... looks like I gotta wait to find out what FG will be. Damn you CC and Target for not saying outright. Oh well. Thanks TSD regardless.

Dont tell me that you adore Jennifer Aniston...

When I'm buying Mr. & Mrs. Smith next tuesday, I'll know I'm doing it to spite you. :p

damn it i copped true romance few days ago. i knew my cheap ass shoulda waited. anyway is fight club the 2 disc?
damn it i copped true romance few days ago. i knew my cheap ass shoulda waited. anyway is fight club the 2 disc?
It might be as the 2 disc is getting a re-release next Tuesday. However I suspect most likely it will be the one disc. TSD, any chance you could either provide a scan of the cover CC used or any info on which one is on sale?

This is a NICE sale. I'm going to pick up Godfather 2, Pulp Fiction, and either Fight Club or Friday for $30.

Anyone know if Pulp Fiction at CC is the collectors edition?

Fight Club is getting a re-release? Is it the same 2d version or an all-new version with extras, dts, etc.? Pretty good deals for the week after Black Friday.

Wait, why is Million Dollar Baby, Constantine, and all those other movies so cheap?

I mean, I'm not complaining, I got them cheap enough on release week, it just seems so weird that they dropped like a rock.

Anyone who dosen't buy The Warriors as part of the 3 for 30 is a communist, as well.

I also gurantee Best Buy comes through with a great price on Family Guy Vol. 4 for RZ members as well, they won't drop the ball on this one.

the first two volumes of family guy are worth it, the new season just isn't as funny. I wouldn't get it unless it was like 10 bucks

I'm thinking $17.99 at CC for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Family Guy v3, War of the Worlds, and Sky High. And probably similar prices at Best Buy.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith will be $13.99 next week. I love these new CC low prices.
And also according to CircuitCity.com....

FG Volume 3 - $27.99
Sky High - $16.99

Pulled from Best Buy's online ad:

Mr and Mrs Smith - $15.99
Family Guy Vol 3 - $29.99
Muppet Movie - $14.99
Deuce Bigolow: European Gigolo - $17.99
March of the Penguins - $17.99
Crank Yankers (some new boxset) - $17.99
Sky High - $17.99 with some kind of bonus

A whole bunch of christmas movies are 2 for $20:

Nightmare Before Christmas
Elf
The Grinch
How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Seuss)
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 1 and 2
Mickey's Once Upon a Xmas
Mickey's Twice Upon a Xmas
Jingle All The Way
Some Scooby Doo Christmas movie
Santa Clause 1 and 2
Miracle on 34th Street

Then there is also a part of the ad that talks about some DVD holiday sales book, with MONEY SAVING COUPONS being advertised!!

I think I'll be getting The Muppet Movie at BB and the Jurassic Park Adventure Pack. Is there any confirmation on whether this includes the King Kong ticket at Target?

In case any of you missed it:

posted by Scorch in another thread in this forum

Family Guy Volume 1 and Volume 2 are $17.99 this week.. Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story is $9.99 this week also. Hastings doesn't usually have deals, but holy crap, those are two great prices!

Oh, and if you buy Volume 3 on Tuesday, you get a free movie rental.

Sadly there is not a Hastings near me and paying someone to pick them up and ship them would pretty much kill the deal. I have none of the seasons so far and have been waiting for a deal on all of them. Any store have a big deal when you buy the 3? I rarely buy dvds anymore I only buy these tv seasons for some reason even though I already have all the episodes....

If that if that Jurassic Park 3 pack also has the movie ticket for $15 i'm all over that! I'll give the movies to my niece and nephew they love the first one. LOL I'll keep the ticket for myself.

Has anyone seen Sky High? Is it of any real value? The movie cash for Narnia at BB makes it tempting if the movie is any good.

From the websites, Family Guy V3 is 27.99 at CC, 25.99 at Target. No guarantees that's the ad price though (but likely, especially as Target shows a markdown online)

25.99, I guess Target is where I'm going.
so wait...this Family Guy dvd is only HALF of season 4?...the rest of season 4 is STILL running? wtf?
FG is on season 5, which started in September, I believe. Vol. 3 is all of season 4.

check out familyguy.com it's still listing the current eps as season 4. 2005-2006

My initial post was wrong, Family Guy Vol 3 is 24.99 at Best Buy this week, and 24.99 at Target as well (the guy on the phone even told me 26.99, but nope, 24.99).
check out familyguy.com it's still listing the current eps as season 4. 2005-2006
Interesting. I could've sworn that a new season had started. It looks like the episodes are all out of order, too. Seems kind of stupid in that sense. I'd think that once all of season four is done they'd repackage the whole thing and get some more money from the fans.

Also, I want to confirm to those questioning whether Target has the King Kong ticket in the JP Adv. Pack that it does. Like Nirvanaguy said, the ticket is in all versions so have at it and get 3 DVDs and see a movie in theaters for $15 plus tax.

Wil somebody tell me why this is for so cheap? Is there something defective with this? AND it comes with a Free King Kong ticket.
Do the movies come in their own cases or are they all packed into one digipak type case?

that JP set is in a NICE case, i saw it last night. it's a trifold harder box, a disc on each inside panel.

for those wondering about the family guy set. from my research, eps 1-10 on this set are from the BROADCAST season 4 (production season 4 is still running and total is 16 eps). The final 3 eps on this are the first three from BROADCAST season 5 (or eps 11-13 of production season 4). complicated as all get out. in lieu of these three eps being on the next set, they will include the editted for tv 3 episodes that comprise the stewie movie.

edit: that may be confusing, but with these facts, they won't repackage a full production season 4. instead it will all be caught up in the next box set.
