CAGiversary!
At our local movie gallery they're having a valentines sale on their dvds and games, here I could get halo 2, gta:sa, doa ultimate and bloodrayne 2 for 80 bucks they also have a few other games for 15 dollars, I didn't go for the offer but it's not too shabby even if they're used games.

They have some pretty good N64 games I'd be wanting to pick up, if the prices are right. I'm going to look into it, thanks!

9.90- dodgeball
0.00- bourne supremecy
0.00- spider man 2

check IMs
PM me if you get this too late...

A few prices I remember in case anyone's wondering:

GTA: San Andreas - $29.99
Halo 2 - $29.99
Star Wars KOTOR II - $39.99

Also, beware of replacement packaging. I don't know if all of them do this, but both of them in my town do. Most of their games don't have the original case but are still complete (original cover art/instructions/disc).

Yeah, it appears that all Movie Gallery's are running this on games and DVD's, and it's an almost constant deal. I always get DVD's, but they always have the same games which are mostly PS2 and older games.

So... if it's B2G2 free... couldn't you buy 2 Halo 2 / get 2 free and got trade them in at Gamerush for 120$ credit? Or use them on the Trade 3 for a new game at 29.99?

There is going to be a movie gallery opening in my area pretty soon. and i was wondering if they would have any good stuuf on opening day?

Or couldn't you not scam them?

Wait a minute buddy. It's not a scam (watch what you say). Gamerush is offering $30 each for these games - it's all over the walls. If Movie Gallery wants them moved out I think this is a trade in deal for us CAG's.

Just got back from Movie Gallery not to long ago. Picked up the following:

Dodgeball 9.99
Last Samurai 9.99
Seabiscuit 0.00
X-Men 2 0.00

Not too shabby. I also checked out the video games finding only a very weak selection.

How does this deal work? Lets say they had NBA Ballers and Second Sight for $15 each, then Paper Mario 2 for $40. Do they let me have the cheapest game free or I buy NBA Ballers and Second Sight then go grab my free copy of Paper Mario 2?

obviously, the cheapest two games are free.

at my local Movie Gallery, they had some decent $14.99 titles like Everything or Nothing, Star Wars: Etc..,

The problem I have with Movie Gallery is that they put their stickers over the opening of the cases of used games so the discs are actually in the cases on the shelf. Any time I ask to see the condition of a disc, they won't let me. Is it like that with anyone else's Movie Gallery or maybe it's just that one store. I would pick up some games but I don't want to buy some scratched up games in horrible condition.

I'm pretty sure their pre played titles have a lifetime guarentee. Atleast the dvds I bought today do.

How long is this sale going on for? I might have to run down to the nearest location and score a few more DVDs. Last time they ran this sale I scored:

Last Samurai (Widescreen)
Dickie Roberts (Widescreen)
Under A Tuscan Sun (Widescreen)
The Cooler

All for a cool $20! :D

My local Movie Galleries are hell for video games, especially GameCube games. Unless you want MedaBots.

But their B2G2 DVD sale is how I buy basically all my new releases and a good chunk on the birthday/Christmas gifts I give.
Still B2 G1 at the Florida stores... may it will start 1 FEB here...
I went to two of them on the East Coast of FL, and they had B2G2 signs and stuff. Must just be your local one(s).
