Movie prop you wish you had in real life

Lightsabers of course... and I always had this desire to have a DeLorean since seeing it in Back to the Future... didn't know they once were a real car... ^_^
 
I guy on my block had a delorian. THey are cheap now, just hard to get parts for.


And i'd agree with the lightsaber prop.

Most of the parts are a dime a dozen. The majority of a delorean is from the mid 80s GM parts bin. Hell, even the engine and transmission are standard GM parts. Now if you need body parts.. thats pretty tough.
 
come on people the batmobile, you can drive around town in it, plus what the hell u goin to do with a lightsaber, paper weight?

Sorry i didnt clarify myself, thats what i meant. Unfortunatly those cars kind of fall apart, so replacing any body or cosmetic parts is whats expensive.
 
this isn't exactly a movie prop, but at a Hollywood video store they had a double life size Arnold for Terminator 3. it'd be cool to have that guarding my front door. his muscles were bigger than my head =)
 
Data from Star Trek The Next Generation. I would exploit him. He would program for me 24/7. I would also pimp him out to rich lonely women.
 
Besides cars (any Bond car, the 60s Batmobile), either the briefcase from Pulp Fiction or the one ring would be sweet.
 
of course the bond girls count, theyre just things. i wouldn't mind having one of those spiders for starship troopers.
 
The matter replicator from Star Trek.
Roll out of bed in the morning and just yell "computer! two eggs scrambled, toast with butter, hot pot of coffee and some sausage!" POW! Breakfast is waiting in a little cubbyhole in your wall.

Of course, "computer! big sack of cash!" would be handy for the weekends too...
 
More then anything else I want the Ghostbuster's car and some of the other props from the films (some proton pack, some traps, etc).
 
I'd say either the Gold Watch from Pulp Fiction or the firehouse from Ghostbusters. Or a Casey Jones' mask from TMNT.

You didn't really strike me as the type to enjoy climbing up sheer faces. :p But, I do agree that that would make a cool & affordable gift. It might daunt some to rely upon a metallic hook that "folds up" when they're dangling by it, far above the ground, but surely such mundane concerns would be heavily offset by the visceral joy of pulling it out and *chink* -ing it open at night..

Either the shaving cream can from Jurassic Park that held the DNA samples, or that gun from minorty report that used sound or whatever to push things.

Lightsaber would be awesome. That's my dream.
It would be pretty cool to own a delorian, it looks sort of like the poor man's lamborghini (sp).
