Does anyone know any good deals (under $20) for the following older PS2 games:

Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Never Ending Tomorrow

Battle Assault 3 feat. Gundam Seed

That piece of shit Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Never Ending Tomorrow goes for 40-50 on ebay now?! Man Gundam sells alright. Anyway I don't know of any deals for under 20 on any of those, might get lucky on ebay with buy it now or an amazon seller .

Yeah, the Gundam games have shot up in price... Kind of curious if there are low print runs on these [well known series but the games only attract a certain demographic I guess] or that because people have avoided them except diehard fans that the games shot up in price...

they have always been in low print....they were never sold at major stores like Best Buy, CC, Target (well only Journey to Jaburo was), and walmart but only small stores or some game shops
Well with Journey to Jaburo clogging up every gamestop bargin bin i've ever been to I never saw the low print numbers as a bad thing. Also OP have you played any of those games you want before? Battle Assault 3 was pretty bad, just warning you now. http://product.half.ebay.com/Mobile-Suit-Gundam-SEED-Never-Ending-Tomorrow_W0QQprZ46007167QQtgZinfo

Someone has Neverending Tomorrow for 18 but don't mention much about condition
true, but JTJ was bad in all aspects...though i still liked it;)

as for BA3, at least it WAY better than BA1...

eventhough some gundam games are bad, i cant help but love them....hell i thought Gundam Crossfire was badass and still do

Crossfire is too realistic for its own good, i'm just mad the really good Gundam ps2 games didn't get released here, if low sales were the problem maybe release them in Best Buy and Walmart.

yes, i just finished played MS Gundam: One Year War...rly good...and Lost Chronicles was good also...you should trying importing them as most of them have english text.

OP do u have Zeonic Front? its rainbow 6-esc but with Zaku other Zeon MSs.

The only Gundam's I own are the first two Battle Assault games. But ever since I reviewed the MS IGLOO volumes, I'm like now going back and watching the DVD's (UC not alternate universe - probably will do that later).

But now I'm wanting to check out the Gundam games. Of course, the reviews on Amazon are positive (fans) while reviewers have been less than positive.

But I used to see these games used but not as much anymore. So, I'm coming late in the game to finding used or new copies and just amazed how expensive they are. Part of me says...just start new and fresh with the next gen releases but Gundam fans have been positive on the games (although not sure if that is because they are just fans of the anime/manga series).

Btw, are the Dreamcast games worth going after?

Btw, thanks to those who PM'd me...still deciding.

Gundam Side Story for the dreamcast was worth every penny, the controls take some getting used to but once you do prepare for some real fun. The first person cockpit view works really well, beam saber combat is pretty cool that way. Only real flaw with the game is length, at some 9 levels once you get good it is possible to blow through the game in a few hours. Then there is the bonus disc that got released allowing you to fight the RX-78, alas you need a japanese save from the first game to play it and I never got around to getting one.

yes, perfect description...and i got a spare copy on my TL:D

overall, i loved every gundam game (though the least i loved were the SEED games [BA 3 and NET]. but i think SEED in general is blah) if you ever need to know something about a gundam game, just shoot me a pm since ive played and have all the US and most of the JAP games.

OP do you know that there is a gundam rpg? its MS Saga: A New Dawn

I saw a copy of that the other day at a local gaming store and thought of you. Is it worth playing through?

Gamestop has Mobile Suit Gundam Encounters in space for 20 on their website and i did see it in a local store yesterday, but it didnt have the case so i didnt buy it.

Hate whent hey do that.

Zeonic Front was the same price i belive, but be warned your idiotic ai teamates might make you hate the game.

No might to it, A.I in that game stunk to high heaven. Sadly I bought that game on day one, man was I pissed

Hi everyone, went to five stores yesterday and not one store had any Gundam games. I swear I saw them at the stores about two months ago. Especially the RPG MS Saga. Checked the M's and the G's...and nada.

Was MS Saga pretty good? I thought about getting it before mainly because it was a JRPG...
Why are you wasting gas like that? Just use the Gamestop stock locator
I checked and it appears that the nearest stores that have the games are nearly 90 miles away..hehe... well, I see they have two cheap games online: Zeonic Front and Federation vs. Zeon and a few right under $20.

Haven't ordered a used game from gamestop.com - is it a random chance that these will have no manual and covers?

MS Saga is a great game. I finished it about a year ago and it's on my replay list. It's really too bad that not many know about it, thus killing off any chance for a sequel.

LOL Random my ass, more like guaranteed you won't, haven't gotten a complete game from them in a long , long time. Store is your best bet. If you're desperate give it a shot, you can return in store but i've found that while employees will let you do it, they don't always know how to. Last time I had to return marvel vs capcom 2 because it came disc only that was a good 30 minutes of standing there while they called every gamestop they could trying to find someone who knew how to do it. But then i've gone to locations before and they do it in 3 seconds, so luck of the draw.

lol thought of me? yea its awesome! gets hard as hell later on in the game. its a great game!!

yea but i just ended up using them as decoys so i could get the job done

Gundam vs Zeta Gundam is supeior to Feddies vs Zeeks in my opinon. I think its worth paying more to get it than to settle for the cheaper game. UC mode is more interesting than campaign mode, and the number of mobile suits is more than doubled.

I can't stand how gamestop doesnt even try to keep cases or covers. I wanted Encounters in space but im not buying a game that comes in a sleeve, or worse yet one of their god awfull cases. I had a friend get a copy of gears of war that nearly broke because they had it in a weird black case that was so hard to use that the ring scratched and pressed on the game when you put it in or took it out When he took it back he made the guy give him a case that was a real xbox 360 case, and man was the clerk pissed. But this from tne company that seels preopened games as new, so what can we expect right.

I agree but Federation vs Zeon only pales after you play Gundam Vs Zeta, OP wouldn't be doing bad to play that one first then move on to Gundam vs Zeta

Thats true. I just about wore my copy out before gundam vs zeta gundam came out.

I want to play lost war chronicles, particularly after reading the manga, but i am horrible at modding things. Though mabey i can convince one of my friends to instal the flip top for me.

No i think thats operation tory aka mobile ops the one year war.

Lost War Chronicles is a third person game. It has a lot of one year war suits and some cool stuff like the hygoog and the ez 8.

Nuts. Another one to find and put on the backlog. At least I'm almost done with Nocturne and FES shouldn't take long with my second-playthrough data from Persona 3.

Thanks to refusedchaos for hooking me up with MSG Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam and Gundam Side Story 0079 for the Dreamcast.

I'm really getting heavy into Gundam and I hope to watch every episode and DVD for the Universal Century in 2008. It'll fulfill my sci-fi fix until Battlestar Galactica returns in Feb. 2009.

I'll have to find more of the PS2 games once I replenish my cash funds (spent so much in the past two months with all these coupons) but if anyone has extras to sell of MS Saga or other Gundam games for the PS2, definitely interested.

Thanks again everyone for your help!

Climax UC gentleman that was one of the best Gundam games i played, but it was only available in Japan. Gundam Musou (Dinasty Warriors Gundam) was ok. The PSP "Battle" series is also pretty good although they are all pretty much the same.
