MS X360 XBL Marketplace Points (1600) now $19.99 & Faceplates $12.99 ea.

yeah I wanted it for smash TV and Geometry wars....

I still might pick it up in store for 20 if I can manage to make it to circuit city. Have to drive a stupid friend home from LAX today -_-

I'm going to see if they honor it at lunch in about 20 minutes. I'll tell them I was trying to order it for store pickup and it would not let me eventhough they were in stock at my local CC.

Some items on CC.com aren't orderable for in-store pickup, and videogames tend to be in that category normally. Since this is an accessory, they should let you do them for in-store pickup, since I've done accessories for in-store pickup before.

I have a pic, that might work but I cant post it. Im at work and imageshack.us is blocked. I can email it to someone and then have them post it.

Damn i missed it. It would have been nice just to have these points sitting around, this is a great price. Oh well, i might bite on a face plate though.

A bit off topic but I have a question regarding points. Is it true that MS charges you points just to change your gamertag and gamer picture?

Anyone wanna try pricematching and using a gamer gift card?

And would those coupons on 360 accessories work if you buy two to get you over the $29 limit?

If so, it's down to $15, which isn't bad.
PM + GGC is always YMMV, so if you can pull it off, more power to you.

The $10 off $29.99 item coupon is for a single item, $29.99 or more, not two items that add up to that.

Well I brought in the Web page print out and got two sets of 1600 points for 12.99 each.

I did not have any problem at all dealing with CS. I just told her I was trying to order it for a store pickup and it would not allow me. She said that was strange because they had it in stock and she would adjust the price for me.

The instore price at the present time is only $19.99 for these as well not $29.99

Thanks to the OP!

Can anyone answer this?
Gamertag yes/Gamerpic depends if you are buying one. If you use one that you have already purchased/unlocked no charge.
Man, that is some serious weaksauce.

It said they were sold out when I tried to order 2 this morning. Now they have um in stock? Maybe I will find another web special after Christmas.

if that's the case does anyone have a screencap?

The faceplates actually have several hinges and a transparent section for the IR receiver - it's a little more complicated than just a piece of plastic (as I had originally imagined).

It is true that they charge you to change your GamerTag, but at least you can do it now. You can change your GamerCard pic or description at any time.

Sorry but I printed out the page that morning and did not make a print screen.
I had to give the print out to customer service.

Isn't $19.99 the regular price? (as opposed to $29.99).
80 points/dollar -- $10 = 800 pts -- $20 = 1600 pts
