MSN Messenger Help

MSN Messenger crashed on me recently and I lost a lengthy conversation I had with my friend. Is there anyway possible to recover that day's conversation since I have msn messenger keep a chat history? Or am I plain out of luck?
 
I don't use messenger, so I'm just speculating here....

A quick google ("msn messenger" chat history) showed me that messenger, by default, saves the chat history somewhere under My Documents. I couldn't see the rest of the default path...probably under something like My Chats or something lame like that.

Look around there and google some more.
