i'm going to respond, just because.

i watched the awards show, i don't know why. maybe it's because i like to get annoyed by the jerks who win, maybe it's something else, but i find award shows interesting (and usually frustrating). anyways, during that short segment where they had michael moore on, i thought to myself "wow, this is stupid." it has nothing to do with mr. moore, it just has to do with the fact that it was neither the time nor place for such a segment. i am not a george bush supporter, i will not vote for george bush, but i don't think it's fair to push one side like mtv did. it was like a 30 second commercial for moore's new movie, and a chance for him to knock the president. normally, such a thing wouldn't bother me, it's just that the completely unfair nature of the whole thing really irriates me.

as far as jack black goes, i think he can be funny. he was funny on mr. show, he was funny before tenacious d got huge, and he was funny in school of rock. i mean, he's not the funniest man who ever lived, and he does do the same thing every time he's in anything, but it can still be pretty amusing. that being said, anyone who would vote for kerry based solely on jack black wearing a "vote kerry" shirt is a complete idiot.

the problem is that this isn't anti-american, it's anti-replubican, and apparently you can't seperate the two because you either can't grasp the concept of another point of view or you are just think coming to this site and posting nonsense is funny.

"History" per se doesn't have too much in common with modern politics. Hell, I am a high school student - does that mean that the incredibly easy government class I took this year has made me an expert? Maybe I should begin returning the calls from MSNBC...

Bush never caught Saddaam. He was captured by American soldiers, Bush not being one of them. All he's done is start the damn war and, in my eyes, continued it far past its usefulness.

I've said it earlier, but people hate him because a lot of Americans feel that the war was unneeded, the economy hasn't been that great under his leadership, and he can't speak basic English, among other reasons.

One final question...How is Kerry "uneducated?" He went to the same damn college that Bush did! I think going to Yale still counts as education these days...

Bush is not a good president. While I was in favor of going to war with Iraq for reasons that are personal, I do not credit Bush with any accolades of a successful presidency for the following reasons:

1) He has no regard for the Constitution.
2) He has no regard for the world's geo-political climate.
3) He has placed a bet with America's financial security and lost.
4) He is a religious fanatic who is making subversive efforts to undermine church-state separation.
