Multiplayer Racing Games in Which AI Police Interfere

Been playing NFS Hot Pursuit (the new one) and was very disappointed in the game modes. Since no one plays this online anymore when playing with friends someone always has to be the cop and the other the criminal which sucks since no one wants to be the cop. This is extra dumb because in single player there are AI police but none in multiplayer : /

I'm looking for a racing game that has AI cops chase you down in multiplayer ala NFS Hot Pursuit 1 and 2 (the old ones). Used to have a ton of fun starting a race with my bro in split screen and just say screw racing and try to outrun the cops for as long as possible, usually until the helicopters started shooting missiles at you.

Any more recent games like this? Any modern platform will work and PC will be best. Must be multiplayer, must have AI popo.

i think your stuck with NFS.
GTA has online cops chasing you. (of course, it's not the same)

I found that NFS World has a mode called team pursuit which is exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately NFS World is a terrible game.
