Must have Xbox game?

So, I got an Xbox recently and I only have Halo, Halo 2, and PGR2. I also plan to buy DOA Ultimate and Orta. In your opinion, if I were only to buy one more game, what game would you suggest? What is that "must have" game that I must own?

**Also, I looked through all the recent posts and could not find such a topic. I would do a "search" but would assume with all the newer releases that any topic similar to mine from the past would be out of date.

Morrowind Game of the Year. Best game ever made hands down, till Oblivion that is. Can't wait to kill me some uber detailed Argonians, no iguanas gonna rip me off.
Ninja Gaiden and Star Wars: KOTOR are both must own games.
Should I wait for "Ninja Gaiden: Black" or just go ahead and pick up Ninja Gaiden? Can you get the extras (hurricane pack, etc.) still or am I out of luck?

I'd say wait for Black because it is supposed to have more than just the hurricane pack. But, for now, you should get KOTOR and Forza.

all of the above listed games are great, here are some that aren't listed that you may enjoy

Chronicles of Riddick
Full Spectrum Warrior
Any of the Splinter Cells

I would wait to get Ninja Gaiden Black

If you wait to get NG: Black there are really only a couple other worthy games:

Otogi + Otogi 2

DOA: U is another great game and you already have the first Halo, so there's not much else you need.

Otogi 1/2, Splinter Cell, Crimson Skies (if you like flying games and great multiplayer). Pretty much everything else has been mentioned.

Don't forget to consider any multi-platform games you haven't picked up yet. In most cases, the graphics, sound and online capabilities are better on the Xbox port of any multi-console title you may be considering.

I'm going to have to chime in and say Rallisport 2 is probably the most fun I've ever had with a racing game.

PRG2 is ok but the tracks are so sparse, I prefer the street-traffic driving of, say, a Need For Speed Underground. Just more to weave around :)

Oh, yeah, I am picking up an Xbox Live starter kit this weekend and it has "Crimson Skies" with it.

I'm guessing you already have a PS2 and are looking for suggestions of games that are Xbox/PC only?

Depending on your tastes. I'd probably choose from Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR (haven't played II yet myself), or Morrowind.

I lost interest in Morrowind after a week or two (too many games I wanted to move onto) but it would probably be a great choice if you were looking to play the crap out of something.

Some other games that are great but wouldn't make my 'one and only one other game' list are

Full Spectrum Warrior
Riddick
Grabbed by the Ghoulies
Fable
Voodoo Vince (borderline on this list even)
Sudeki (can get pretty repetitive IMO)

Games that look great but I haven't played
Doom III
Jade Empire
Conker (not out yet)

I'm sure I'm probably forgetting some gems though.

There really aren't a ton of AAA Xbox eclusives out there, so not much reason to pick up one on top of a PS2 IMO.

Actually, I have a nice pc for games so I'm only looking for games that are Xbox only or offer extra stuff on the Xbox. And, yeah, I have a ps2 and GC also. I only picked up the Xbox because I had a killer offer that I could not resist.

Ninja Gaiden, without a doubt. Probably the best game of it's kind ever made. Riddick is definately worth a look, especially now that you can nab it fairly cheap. If you're into RPG's, KOTOR and Jade Empire are both fabulous. "Must HAve" games vary quite a lot depending on what type of games you enjoy though...

By the way, what is the difference between the regular and game of the year editions of this game? I have the regular edtion, but remember hearing something about extra stuff in the GOY edition. Is it worth it?

Very few truly 'Xbox only' games out there for someone with your setup. I'm thinking Ninja Gaiden (or maybe Jade Empire) is the only true AAA choice that doesn't also have a PC release. Maybe throw Forza in there too. (But that's not my type of game at all.)

Personally I'd buy most multi-platform games for the Xbox as you have the HDD for saves and they generally are better in the graphics and sound departments. (As MaxBiaggi2 already said.) But I certainly wouldn't be nuts enough to rebuy anything just for that.

chickenhawk - The GOTY ed. of Morrowind added an expansion pack (that you can get for the PC) I think. I set it aside long before I got through what's part of the basic game.

There are two expansion packs in the GOTY edition, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Gives the GOTY edition like 100+ hours of play.

whatever you do dont listen to anyone who tells you to get deathrow or metal slug 3, unless you want coasters!

XBOX only...

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge
Dead or Alive Ultimate
Forza Motorsport
Jade Empire
MechAssault
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf
Ninja Gaiden
Panzer Dragoon Orta

Thanks! Given my backlog of games it's probably better that I not get the GOTY edition. What's the verdict on quality? Is that GOTY version alot better with the expansions?

Yes, it also fixes a few bugs. It's not that much more expensive and it adds some really neat weapons and armor, like the bipolar blade.:D

Damn you!!! :D

Serious Sam, even if you played the 1st and 2nd Encounters on PC. The added cutscenes and additions make it a great fps romp jam packed with action. Not to mention it can really be found on the cheap. Great co-op mode as well.

I can't scream THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: ESCAPE FROM BUTCHER BAY loud enough.
