MVP 2005 for $10 after trade-in?

I heard that there is a store that will give you MVP 2005 for $10 if you trade in any other 2005 EA sports game? Does anyone know if this is true and if it is what store is it. Thanks in advance.
 
Somebody posted in a couple of threads that this was happening at gamestop, mvp 2005 for $10 and fight night 2 for $30 if you trade in a 2005 ea sports game. I don't know if it's happening, though. It wasn't going on at my local gamestop.
 
That is what I did. I bought an Xbox around Christmas time and got the Holiday Bundle that included NCAA 2005. It wasn't able to be traded but I had NCAA for GC already and traded that in since I didn't need 2 of the same game. I got MVP for $11.94 after tax then.

Great deal, great game, probably the best sports game I've ever played so far. I think I heard this deal will last until 3/6 and is also good towards getting Fight Night 2 for $29.99. You basically get $20 trade in for any EA 2005 game.

Someone said that, but a friend of mine did this deal today.
 
Im glad I saw this thread. I remembered the topic a while back and forgot about it. Once I read it again I just remembered a friend gave me an extra copy of Madden 05 for free. So I drove over to my local GameStop, traded in Madden, and picked up MVP 05 for about 12 bucks.
 
This deal is almost certainly OVER! I tried to do this personally this past Sunday and was told it ended.
