My 360 Problems ...

Okay, I first purchased an Xbox 360 from another GAG'r, after having it for a few weeks it just quit working, for whatever reason. It had a 1 year warranty via Gamestop, and a 2 year warranty via Microsoft, after having some problems with gamestop, I took it to Ebgames, and got it replaced. I did this all on the 30th of August. Now on the 2nd of Septmeber while playing the new 360 in the middle of Call of Duty 2, I got the 3 flashing red lights, and the 360 shut off completely. I turned it back on, had it running for about 5 minutes, and it did the same thing, but this time the 3 red lights continued to flash. I then unplugged the 360, and restarted it, and have had it playing for about 20 minutes now, and I haven't had another problem yet... but here's my problem ..

I just got it 3 days ago, it shouldn't be messing up at all. On the EBgames reciept it stated new merchandise (including systems) can be returned within 7 days of purchase, with the sales reciept for the identical item. Should I take it to ebgames and see if I can exchange it, again? Although, it seems to only do it select times, I'm unsure if they will replace it or not if it's not completely dead ..

Well, hopefully someone can help me or give me some advice on what to do, I'm about tired of 360 problems!

man if you got 7 days and dont want to send it in to MS you better take it back NOW!!!!!!!! cause you will pay shipping and stuff.

What idiot buys a 1 year GS warranty and a 2 year MS warranty? :whistle2:s Dumbass you bought it from must be made of money.

The 2 year MS warranty was for the first unit's serial number, and if you don't have that unit anymore, you can't use that warranty. All you're stuck with is the GS warranty, which I think burns itself up when you've used, and if it doesn't, you need to take the second unit back for a replacement.

Rscarmelo or something, it was by accident I believe. I returned the xbox 360 with the reciept, as it was new, within 7 days. When I had taken it in the first time, they let me take the harddrive off the broken 360 and put it on the new 360, could that have messed up the second one..?

I called microsoft, and the guy told me I could transfer it, or "add" it to the warranty or whatever .. and yea the GS warranty was done when I got the replacement .. hopefully all goes well with this one .. or I think I'm going to give up.
