I went to blockbuster, to check out preplayed games (sometimes games are mint), I'm looking for 10 minutes, I see Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for $10 in Original Case, I bring it to the desk, i ask to see the disc, i also saw the manual inside the case, I take a look at the disc, some asshole replaced it with the Sons of Liberty Disc, I was ready to shoot myself, I'm like you gotta be Fcuking kidding me. Later that night I checked out clearance games at TRU, i picked up:

Bloodrayne - PS2 - $3.48
Resident Evil Code Veronica (GH)- PS2 - $4.48
Devil May Cry (GH) - PS2 - $5.48

I also saw, but did not buy:

Xenosaga - PS2 - $4
Beyond Good and Evil - PS2 - $4.48
Outlaw Golf - GC - $6
Red Faction - GC - $6
Bomberman Generations - GC - $6
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance - PS2 - $5.48
Phantasy Star Online - DC - $6
Smuggler's Run - PS2 - $4.48
Illbleed - DC - $6.48
Castlevania Lament of Innocence - PS2 - $6.48
Backyard Wrestling - $6.48

Was what I bought the right choice, and was there anything else I should have bought? Thanks for your Input.

I wouldn't have bought Bloodrayne. I would've gotten Beyond Good & Evil and Red Faction, both are AMAZING games.

I didn't buy Beyond Good and Evil because I thought it was an RPG which i don't like and i don't like to play FPS games on GC

Beyond Good and Evil is more like Zelda than a typical RPG it's quite fun, I would have tossed in Castelvania instead of Bloodrayne but RE and DMC are very nice pickups!

If I had a PS2 and GC I would have bought a bunch of this. Probably everything but Outlaw Golf (wanted this one until I actually bought and played it - it sucks), Backyard Wrestling, and the DC games (though I'm not familiar with Illbleed...)

Your TRU has a much better selection of clearance that mine does.
Is Red Faction actually good? I was playing it and didn't like it too much for the hour or two of time that I gave it.
Since it was for GameCube, I'm guessing he saw Red Faction 2. Red Faction is a great game with an absurdly long single player mode. Red Faction 2 is a good game with a pretty short single player mode and some excellent multiplayer. My favorite setup is Infinite ammo, no reloads, nothing but explosive weapons. Doesn't take a lot of skill, but it's great for a party game.

Now imagine getting all the games on your list with $5 off per game . . . boy I miss that magic coupon of December . . . :notworth:
