I'm going to have to go off of memory, as I made the transaction last night.

Let me know how I did.


I found out that Gamerush is running their "Trade 3, get an extra $5 per game" deal. I've got a few trade bait games, so I figured what the heck.

The games I traded were as follows:
Quantum Redshift - XBOX (2)
Madden 2004 - PS2
NBA Live 2004 - PS2
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - PS2
Legend of Alon Dar - PS2
Ever Grace - PS2
Ridge Racer V - PS2

These 8 games banked me $78.**. I then asked to use their "Trade 2 games, get a new one for $29.99" deal for Gran Turismo 4. I also got Lego Star Wars for $29.99, due to the same deal. After those two purchases, I was left with $14.**. I picked up a used copy of Top Spin (XBOX) for $16.99. I also picked up a used copy of Crimson Skies (XBOX) for $8.50 thanks to the "Buy a used game, get one 1/2 off" deal.

All in all I payed $23.** for Gran Turismo 4, Lego Star Wars, Top Spin, and Crimson Skies.
$10 = price of the 8 traded games
$13 = balance of new game prices

I have never had an employee who was so willing to stack deals. On one transaction I had;

Trade 3, get $5 per game extra
Trade 2, get any new game for $29.99 (x2)
Buy any used game, get one 1/2 off

I really went in expecting just to get the 3/$5 deal. I walked out completely astonished. My wife was very excited as well. It was her idea to tell everyone on here.

:lol: my gf does that sometimes too...whenever she KNOWS i found a really good deal, shes like..."are you going to post this on CAG?" then i feel like a dork and im like, "not right now...i'll do it later" then she goes, "why not, it was a good deal, ill post it if you dont".....knowing i would've posted it immediately if she didn't say anything :lol:
 
Yep, nice deal....I was able to double-dip on the trade 3/get$5 and trade 2/get$30 game.

However, my GameRush has wised up and stopped doing that....so now I only trade 2 games in at a time if I want Pre-Order
