My crazy 1 week game binge: 9/18 - 9/24... whats yours?

Im waiting for the TRU buy 2 get 1 free deal for most of my games, but if I have to name what I want right off the bat ill will get DDR EXTREME 2 at launch and possible Indigo Prophecy.

Nothing.

I missed out on Suikoden II, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and all the other $$$ ones at launch, and had to pay 3 times launch price to get them (eventually).

Collecting games is as bad of a habbit as comic books, beanie babies or Pokemon. gotta catch them all!

Most of it is the Bonus Items. I got mine from Gamestop.com. I know I listed EBGames, but that was so CheapyD gets a kick back if you click the link...I hope.

But like I said it's the bonus items, the free shipping and tax free.

I WANT a lot of these games coming out in the next few months and I have the money but with my comic book addiction I'm not sure I can justify spending money on all these games right now too.

We Love Katamari - $19.49 after $10 off coupon @ Overstock.
Digital Devil Saga 2 - $34.99 @ Outpost.
Ninja Gaiden Black - $24.99 @ Outpost.

And I will be picking up Shadow of the Colossus on release day for $20 after using my $20 Paper Mario voucher. I don't think there's anything else coming out in the next few months that I really want.
 
Is that the official box art for the Ultimate Spiderman LE? Is the only way to get that boxart by getting the LE? That Venom cover is kickass! Much better than the Spiderman one.
 
Actually, Gamestop is showing Digital Devil Saga 2 at 10/05 now, and they seem to keep on top of their release dates more than EB.

I was going to get that and Katamari, but now I just think I'll wait for SC3 also.

Anyone can buy a bunch of games at any time. I think the main point is that there are a lot of new games coming out soon that are worth buying (opinion).
 
Agreed; I'm just saying 6 games isn't a binge.

Personally, the only thing I'm picking up until 360 releases is DDR Extreme 2.

All those new releases... well, hey, they're good games. Enjoy them. You guys make me feel a lot better about my Cheapass, in comparison, binges =)

6 games in 1 week though? That's 1 game a day basically, an extra $50 EVERY day for a week? That's a lot!

Mine was a cheapass binge. I only payed more than $20 for Atelier Iris and Growlanser Deluxe.

6 games is nothing. I've had weeks where I bought upwards of 10 games (other than the incident last month).

Where's the deal? I've been hording Rhino credit for the last several months for the fall gaming rush - I have around $400 in credit now. Keeping in mind that by taking advantage of other sales & their 2-for-1 policy, $50 in credit costs me on average $20 cash. That, combined with some EB & GS credit I got from trading in my Xbox & games has left me with enough to get all the games I really want this fall. :) Here are my definites for the rest of the year:

*Soul Calibur III - 10/25
*Ratchet: Deadlocked - 10/25

Pretty much all the good games that came out last year are on my "to buy" list :) Have to get Resident Evil 4 to see what the fuss is all about first
