My decent find today.. Suikoden 1 at EB

I went in looking for Final Fantasy X2, which they had, and looked around in the PSone section, only to find Suikoden 1, at $40.. I really only could spend the $10 for FFX2, but I gave in, and got the EB edge card too cause it was only a dollar after the discount on Suikoden.. I've heard this game is really great and I figure I can resell it for almost the same amount after playing or if I don't like it..

i think you got major ripped paying 40 for the 1st one. NOW if it was the 2nd one that be a different story.. If i knew i get 40 out of mine i would sell the 3 i got

hmm maybe I didn't do such a good job being a CAG here, but this is the same EB where I got 4 psp games for about $30 with blockbuster crap, and I have been wanting suikoden.

$40 is about the average price, but it is only $36 after edge card.

I looked everywhere for Suikoden I a while back and couldn't find it ... then I went to visit my grandma in another state, and BAM ... there it was. Picked it up for $27. Got home, and all of a sudden I saw the game popping up everywhere. I see it pretty frequently, now ... and the price has gone up.

I wonder why the price went up, considering it's easier (for me) to find now ... ?

Great game though. Definitely can get decent trade value for it.

My local EB Games have two Suikodens (the first one) in stock for $39.99. I don't know if they're complete or not, but I know the cases are in excellent condition.

At Rhino, we sell Suikoden 1 for 24.99. My store has kept that in stock fairly regularly, too.

The increased price probably slowed sales. It's strange, gamestop is dropping their psone rpg prices while EB is raising them. Another reason why I like gamestop better (Besides the much nicer and more knowledgable employees) and why eb sucks.
