My haul for the day

Stopped at three places today and got the luckiest I've ever gotten in a while. Here's where I went:

TRU: Found a ton of games for $5-10 - the only two games I got that were more were Siren and Sword of Mana. With my coupon to get $10 off two games $19.99 or less, most of the games came out to $2-$5 each. Not too many $5 ones to get for free, but I'm not complaining. I spent about $50 and got a total of 20 games - an average of $2.50 a game.

GameStop: I stopped here just for the guides, even though the B2G1 free sale on games looked tempting. No penny guides, but plenty of $2 guides. They had guides for Fable and Madden 2005 Collector's Edition, but I passed since I don't own either of those games. Instead, I picked up Dynasty Warriors 2 and Final Fantasy X-2 guides, and then as I was about to check out, I noticed one guide that I just couldn't pass up - Disgaea!!! Grabbed that one to make my total $6 for the three guides.

GameRush: I was about to grab Hot Shots Golf Fore to get for $10 after trading in three games, but hidden behind a stack of other games was a used copy of Disgaea. I asked to see the disc before buying it, and when the cashier opened the case, I not only saw the instructions, but also a scratchless disc - mint and complete! A perfect complement for the guide I bought earlier! Afterwards I was checking out the GBA games, and I noticed a cart-only copy of Pokemon Sapphire for $5. Needless to say I got it, but at the register, it rang up for $2! Somehow it was mismarked as a Genesis game, but the cashier said nothing more than "Nice deal." I even had a little credit leftover!

Overall I got:
20 new games (most decent - only 2 or 3 crap games)
like new Disgaea
cart-only Pokemon Sapphire
three used guides, including Disgaea guide
some leftover GR credit

Total cost:
$56 out of pocket
three used games
1 gallon of gas and a couple hours of my time

Nice! I'm still looking for a copy of Disgaea on the cheap. Sword of Mana would be cool too...good finds.
How much was Disgaea?
Normally $39.99, but $10 after the promotion.

And for those of you interested in the games I got from TRU, here they are:

PS2:
Arc the Lad
Beyond Good & Evil
Devil May Cry
Gladius
Hitman 2
Jampack Winter 2004
Siren
Soul Calibur II (non-GH)
XIII

GC:
Ribbit King

XBox:
Tenchu: Return From Darkness

GBA:
Sword of Mana

PS1:
Fighting Force
Rageball
Spec Ops: Ranger Elite

The reason you don't see 20 different games is because I got doubles of some. There was plenty more of everything, so if anyone still has their coupon and sends it to me, I would be more than willing to pick some stuff up for you.

I'm not a math major.. in fact, I detest math.. so could someone explain how this works?

With my coupon to get $10 off two games $19.99 or less, most of the games came out to $2-$5 each.

To me, this means $10 off only two games that are $19.99 or under. Just the two. Yet people are getting truckloads of stuff, and claiming they're $2 or $3 to boot. How?

In the fine print of the coupon, it says that the savings automatically multiply for all eligible games. Hence, for every two games you buy that are under $19.99, you get $10 off. Rinse and repeat as often as you'd like, but since it's a coupon, you could only come back later if you had another coupon.
