So, I call up KB, hoping to score a copy of MGS3, only to find them sold out (what was I thinking?). I go home, and call CC. I was told that they will pricematch an item as long as a store has it in stock, and they can call and confirm the price. So I go to KB's site, and call around. I finally find one with the game in stock. I drive over to CC armed with the phone number to the store with the game. After a bit of negotiating, and quite a wait, he agrees to pricematch the game. I nabbed my brand-new copy of the game for just under 18 bucks.
I don't know if this would work for other CCs, but I assume one could say when they called they were told all they need is the number of a store with the lower-price in-stock.
