My quick GRAW review

Daddy

CAGiversary!
OK....WOW....lets see first things you notice FAST...single player is Amazing looking....when flying above Mexico in the chopper your like "Team America ...f**k yeah" it really is sooo nice to see in HD. the graphics are crispy and the night vision is short distance ONLY...in fact you notice a few things that FINALLY they caught wind of to get rid of the cheapness in the GR series....

No leaning and walking...after about 1 sec it takes you out of it if you try

Cover mode is not in MP

Nightvision is limted by distance...so using NV during the day is pointless

Takes a while to reload or change weapons

Anywho the biggest difference is the shooting...a little tiny red dot sight and the accuracy is WAY different.... single shot is on key and burt fire is limted to distance and stopping power .... the guns MAKE this game...they are excellent, and all different in their own way. If you hold down the trigger you better be close up b/c you will see you bullets go EVERYWHERE and youll die (unless you M60 and go insane and get lucky) The sniping is refined and VERY HARD to hit people on the move when zoomed in with the anolog (in fact the anolog full zoom is hard in general).....the shooting is broken out yet again here with all guns by 2 ways to shoot...hold the left trigger and you go into what looks like Resident Evil 4 version of OTS...it also allows you to walk...when seeing someone do it, it appears like the old slow walk strafe....the otherway to shoot is Zooming in.....you better be far away b/c you cant run and do this and almost all the time you better be in single shot mode....Shooting will take you the longest to get used to.

The cross com....SICKEST *** EVER.....is the only way to describe it...once this game gets tactical its beyond words...I played a map and had Immer (in my clan) take cover and watch the road....I could then flank safely knowing and SEEING the other angle of where I was flanking...just sick and I know youll freak the first time you do your "tactical" move. Also shooting someone in the back or face while seeing them die on someone elses screen is too funny.Get shot and your cross com goes fuzzy.... just so many details I could type a *** 20 page review......BUY IT DUMBASS is probably the best review I can say

The speed is half GR and Half Island thunder...you CAN hold down the left anolog and do DROP SHOTS...yes thats right big daddy style. The draw distance in the game is amazing as well...youll shizzy far away with no loss on graphics....this game is gorgeous in HD and I think you may "have to have it" to see this at least in MP. Nobody knows how to play all the way yet and youll see ALOT of Run and GUN since its first day...havent seen the tactical map or UAV, but I took them out for my "Custom Game" you can actually turn off any gun for each class and every possible setting is adjustable....this game is gonna be THE ONE for quite sometime....It makes SOCOM look like an Atari game with stick figures.

PS- Dry Docks...looks like a splinter cell map and its sick...the rain...the sound..the lighting in lit areas...and for each map by the way there is "music" that you can turn on or off......but leaving it on gives it that action movie feel and its awesome

In closing:If you sitting at work I suggest you "become" sick if your not already sick from anticipation...Im sorry if my review bounced everywhere, but Im stuck back at work for another 3 hrs and I cant stop thinking about playing again.
so in other words this game really sucks bad?
It rocks Every game out there

I just played for a bit and at least from single player I'm getting some bad vibes. First, does hard take off all the diamonds? I can't stand having diamonds everywhere, it just feels like the game is holding my hand too much. I couldn't find an option to turn them off though. Though with everything being in kind of an orange blur it would be kinda hard to see enemies without them.

Haven't went into multiplayer much except for one match. A friend said one of the co-op maps was really short. I did notice the visuals did seem to drop a bit and the game didn't look as impressive as I thought it would. This game is one that probably benefits from a high definition TV quite a bit, at least in some aspects.

I get a feeling that Summit Strike will still be the better co-op game, but this will be a better versus game.

I like it, i've unlocked the 1st 3 achievements in the offline so far.

Online is good times but i've got two complaints:

I don't like the drone thing, it sucks being able to track your enemies through walls and stuff. That's no biggie just have the host turn it off.......

After every game it kicks everyone off the server. You can't stay in that hosts room. Several people were bitching about this.....
wait they don't have host rooms anymore?? WTF??
Yea people still host rooms. You can't play more than one game in a row in that room though. It drops everyone back out after the round ends.

Huh? I was hosting a game with my friends last night, and we weren't kicked after each round... We were doing co-op missions.

Yea, I was hoping for more co-op missions, but it looks like they will be releasing more for download in the future... very cool.

I found cover mode a little annoying...but I'm gonna give it another try before passing judgement. At this point I'm glad it's not on MP.

But the biggest complaint? NO SOUTH PAW! Yea, i know it's been discussed to death, but one of my best friends can't/won't join us without it. A huge disappointment because this is the reason he bought a 360. If you want south paw support, please jump over to the ubi forums and ask in their (existing) thread.

I don't believe that. You DON'T switch Southpaw IN GAME, you switch it under personal settings on the Dashboard!

He probably doesn't have his settings in the dashboard switched to Southpaw.

Yes, but the game still has to support it. This one doesn't.

Official thread over at ubi:

If you don't feel like reading it, they imply it will be fixed via a patch, but don't commit to anything.

Yes you can, you and your friends must have been playing ranked matches.. in player matches everyone goes back to the lobby after viewing the previous games stats, and the host chooses game settings again, it's alot like the lobby setup in Rainbow Six3 / Black Arrow.
