I just got the dvd today...haven't opened it yett...however I'm considering returnin the dvd for another version. I've read thru dvdtalk.com that the version I got might have some fucked up audio problems. The version I bought was published by PMP Entertainment. Before gettin MSG, I got similar problems with this other dvd called Sex is Zero(not a porno!) that I've bought that was published by Winson Entertainment. The audio was worse than a bootleg. I'm considering returnin MSG for the one published by Edko. If any cags have this dvd pleassse tell me which version and publisher do u have and tell me how is the audio and picture!

Actually Sex is Zero is a Korean comedy styled after American Pie... think of it as "Korean Pie" :lol:
 
Great and funny movie but I didn't really think of American Pie after watchin it...but now that u did mention it...it does has some elements to it. One thing about the movie tho, I'll never look at eggs the same way again...hahaha
 
My friend was able to get a copy from Canada, most likely bootleg... it's kind of ironic that pirated copies have better quality than originals these days. =/

Anyway, MSG is a great movie - somewhat depressing at first but definitely worth watching with your girl. Good luck finding a non-shaq'd up version.

MSG is really brilliant. I wasn't aware you could get copies of it with English subtitles. Please link me, as I am too lazy. And scared to look on my own :(

Both version doesn't have 5.1 surround which is sad...just dolby digital 2.0

dvdasian was really quick with my order...processed and shipped both on the same day when I ordered it.

There is also yesasia.com...I've never ordered from them but I hear they're good also.

Check out your favorite torrent site as there is currently a surge of Korean movies coming out and a lot of them are actually quite good.
 
All I can say is, both the movie and the magna are great. And both movies (My Sassy girl and Sex is Zero) are in my collection.
 
Good news...dvdasian assured me that if I was not satisfied with my copy. Opened or not. I can send it back in for a refund. They was real quick to respond also.

So I opened it and watched. I thought the movie was great. It was running for at least 2 hours. A little too long for romantic comedy but hell I didn't really mind at all and the time flew by. The movie didnt even feel like it dragged on to me. The audio was okay but I wish it could have been better. If you put the volume up, you'll be able to hear some of the some popping noise. There was also a couple of times when the subtitles didn't show up. Luckily it wasn't at one of those pivotal parts of the movie. Also during the scene where the guy meets sassy girl's parents, when the mom was speakin there was no audio for her. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the movie. I'm also keeping it.
