My Thread vanished, did I break any rules?

Just trying to figure out whats ok and whats not ok for the future. I did read all the FAQ's and stuff before making my 1st deal post.

I posted a thread in Video Game deals about finding a good deal on DS game it was an Ebay Store sale, that I purcashed from.

But I noticed the thread dissapeared and I cannot access it. CheapyD had edited earlier the tinyurl link I put in, didnt realize that was a No No, now I do. But I am not sure why my thread just dissappeared.

Hoping any mod can shed light an let me know if I did anything against the rules. Sorry If I did It certainly was not my intention. Just looking for deals and looking to share like everyone else.

I think another mod removed it due to thoughts that you might have some kind of ties with the eBay store. It just seemed somewhat shady coming from a new member and after all was said in done, you weren't getting the game much cheaper than just going to Best Buy and using a Gamer Gift Card. Don't let it discourage you from posting deals though, it was just moved as a precaution. Honestly, most deals from eBay stores usually aren't posted in the main deals forum, but rather in the auctions forum.

You don't really need to do that. If you find something you think is a good deal in an eBay store, just post it in the auction forum. Good deals should be posted no matter where they are from. :)
