N.H. Primary Winners: Clinton & McCain

I hope those corporate lobbyists are pissing themselves, trying to figure out which candidate to throw money at. Lord knows they don't deserve to sleep well.

It's interesting to see the results. How did all the polling data get so far off? They were all predicting Obama having all this momentum going into New Hampshire and him sweeping and then BAM, Clinton from behind victory.

Man, that sounded kinda creepy when I read that last section out of context...

good, serve those Hillary haters right. The press were so unbelievably vicious. I never seen so much blatant sexist hit pieces spewing from all the mainstream media before. Completely disgusting.

ohhh cry me a river, ohh too late Hil beat you to it. You think they are picking on her because she is a woman, but thats really just you molding how they cover her into sexism.

I am curious of some of the examples you had of her being covered in a sexist fashion. How about the clip where they constantly showed her crying but conveniently left out the part about her ripping into Obama 5 minutes later.

Most interesting thing about New Hampshire is the Ron Paul option: Freedom or Corporatism? That's the decision that all those who are non communist-fascist-democrat-neo-conservative-Jewry will have to answer to.

I wish I had thought of that phrase.

I wonder which candidate Queen Beatrix supports? That will provide the answer of who is the...Jewiest, no?

There were some guys with signs that said "Iron my shirt" and they were yelling, (creatively enough) "Iron my shirt, Iron my shirt."

I wonder what group they represented, MADD, "Misogynist Association of Divorced Dads."

You mean this?

It was a radio stunt. The 2 guys removed were Adolfo Gonzalez, Jr. and Nick Gemelli. They talk more about it here. Call it a touch of the conspiracy theorist but I think it was a political stunt by a part of Hilary's campaign to boost her profile by making her appear as a political pariah and basically garner the sympathy vote (and it looks like it worked, according to New Hampshire).

Looks like Obama has another endorsement:

Kerry: Obama can 'get America moving'

Published: Jan. 10, 2008 at 1:37 PM
Print story Email to a friend Font size:CHARLESTON, S.C., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, Thursday endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., saying he "can help our country turn the page."

The Massachusetts senator announced his endorsement during an event for Obama in Charleston, S.C.

"I believe that more than anyone else, Barack Obama can help our country turn the page and get America moving by uniting us and ending the division that we have faced," Kerry said in prepared remarks.

Kerry's endorsement of Obama in his campaign to be the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee comes at the expense of former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina, Kerry's 2004 rival and eventual running mate.

The other candidates "are terrific public servants and each of them could be president tomorrow and each would fight to take the country in the right direction," Kerry said, but Obama communicates "the best of our hopes and aspirations for America."

"I support Barack Obama for president because he has the judgment to know that Washington must change ... (and) because he will help bring the country together again."

How could he support him over his old running mate? I know they were dysfunctional, but it still makes Kerry's decision-making ability look terrible.

Cause he cant stand hillary, or bill whtever someone said.

Obama just speaks mindless rhetoric- people are actually starting to figure that out. Everything he says is vague, he just tells us to "believe in change."

Oh please, a simple google for Hillary media sexism will turn out more than enough examples. Quick example: Right before the NH primary, the front page of many newpapers had nasty headlines about Hillary such as 'Emotional Meltdown!', 'PANIC!' etc., with numerous pundits saying that was an indicator that she is too weak to lead the country and the final nail to her campaign. Almost every article mentioned how she cried and her eyes full of tears, yet a simple look at the video shows there were none of that. Jon Stewart said it best regarding that emotional meltdown video: "That's IT?". And then there's Chris Matthews.

Okay, so just the "emotional breakdown" thing, then? Yeah, I agree, that was fucking ridiculous.

You could have just said "she deserved it what with all the bullshit about her 'emotional breakdown'", if that's all you were talking about.

And who the fuck cares about Chris Matthews?

I wonder what the media would say if Obama teared up... probably not much.

(Oh yeah, and John Stewart, if I recall correctly, didn't even play the major part of the clip, where she really starts tearing up about not wanting to see the country "fall backwards". As usual, John Stewart is a COMEDIAN, and the last thing he's worried about is accurately representing the topic at hand. I love him, but come on, he's a fucking comedian.)

(EDIT: just watched the Stewart clip again. Yeah, John plays the one part of the clip where she's crying the LEAST. Seriously, if you ever look at anything on Stewart objectively, it's complete bullshit. I mean, it's funny, but it's complete bullshit. You can't take the guy seriously, and he'd think you a moron if you did. I think Bill Cosby said it best: "ZIP ZOP ZOOBIDEE BOP HERE I GO DOWN THE SLOPES!!")
