N64 Preowned at Ebgames 14.99

wow 12.99 in store? urrrg i bought mine like 3 weeks ago from gamestop for $20 and it didn't come with an expansion pak.

I need to find an expansion pak cheap :/

How much does ebgames sell ps1's or DC's in store? :)

Yeah - just a few years ago n64 was a lot of money. Why is it so cheap now compared to older systems?
 
Is getting the DC worthwhile? They don't sell used anything for that system at gamestop. Do they at EB?

why is n64, DC, genesis so cheap but SNES and NES are like $40-50??
 
I got a complete boxed NES off ebay for like 30$ awhile back, I have like 2 nes or so. 50$ is way too much for one. My n64 is still strong so I dont need another.
 
guyver2077, are there many "must get" games for the DC that you cant get on another system?

could i buy this system at an eb games store as opposed to online? do they have a good selection of games in store for cheap?

I hear you can play roms of snes and nes games on it and you can download DC games for free from the net and burn them on to discs, is this true?
 
Dreamcast was great, I bought my first one for 100$ then it decided to be gay and break, stopped me in the middle of grandia 2. I later bought another one when it went down to 50$. When the first one broke I had like 10 games I had hardly played, so I had to get another. And yes you can emulate SNES on DC, but I have never tried it.
 
well yes its true but no condoned.

and yes there should be a huge collection of used dc games at gamestop or eb. i know ebgames.com has used ga,es and you can use the online codes.

there are a few exclusives that are great. and yea u can play snes and genesis on it but not perfect. nes emulation thoug is perfect.

i also would use it before i got my computer to get online and before i got a dvd player as my vcd/mpeg/divx source

i swear i must have a cd wallet full of cd's ive burned just to use on my dc. (free source/emulation)

SIDE NOTE..i also did not mean to hijack this thread lol...go get an n64.. that is an awesome system as well. go get no mercy,wm2000, and wcw revenge
 
Goldeneye 007, Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps ... all AAA N64 titles.

Diddy Kong Racing, Mario 64, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis...
 
Anyone that's getting an n64 for the first time, make sure to get Conkers Bad Fur Day. It's one of the best games ever!! Also don't forget to pick up Mario Kart 64.

Can anyone recommend me 3 good games for the n64 that could go towards this deal? I can give the n64 to a friend, trade it with someone , or use it if it comes with an expansion pak - that would be great.


I already have Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Rougue Squadron, Golden Eye, and Diddy Kong racing.


Urgh - i would have saved a bunch of cash if i had known about this deal 2-3 weeks ago.

Amen to that, paying full price for the Dreamcast was well worth it. My parents threw it somewhere up in the attic in a box and i'm dying to try to find it.

I just called to let them know that the code isn't working. They are going to work on getting the code accepted.

Blast Corps is a great one. I had a hard time not so much finding good games, but finding good ones I don't already have. I plan to get Fighter's Destiny, Rogue Squadron, and Winback (even though I already have the PS2 version).

I would love to get Perfect Dark, but alas, i don't have an expansion pak and they are more expensive than the system itself.


If the n64 included with that deal had an expansion pak, that would be so sweet.
 
Call me crazy, but I'd also recommend Star Wars Racer. Addictive and I play it periodically still. Same goes with Pilot Wings.

I agree with all other typical recommendations in this thread.
 
I ended up ordering Blast Corps, Perfect Dark and Ken Griffey.

I also got the same error message, but I too emailed the webmaster, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
 
My favs for N64 are

Perfect Dark and Starfox 64.

my friend and i played Dark all the time, he didn't have an expansion pak though, we just played multi-player. was still a blast.
 
Can't get it either, you would think they'd have fixed it by now. I even saw an ad on the site for it.
 
OMG, i wait a few days to order this and now both Perfect Dark, Blast Corps, and Duke Nukem Zero Hour are out of stock - 3 games i had my eye on.


Um, any other 3 games that are worthwhile to get to take advantage of this deal?

Or are there no good ones left
