Ive never heard Dir En Grey or the last 5 you posted. And I cant stand Godsmack at all.

I got to see Story of the Year in concert back in April. Beside the cruddy opening acts, it was awesome to the max.

Only things I would add to my list is (in order) Our Lady Peace, Dashboard Confessional, Third Eye Blind, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
do you have Is This Room Getting Smaller? i got that cd by accident as a Xmas gift, and i love it! i think the best tracks are New World Order, Tapwater, Shed The Skin, Never Ending, and Underground.
Yep, I've got the CD. Good stuff. My favorite tracks are Instead Laugh, New World Order, Tapwater, Shed The Skin, Eight, and Underground.

Here's how I got into them:

Late in 2001, a friend of mine heard "New World Order" on the radio and downloaded it on Kazaa. He then downloaded a couple more songs and decided to buy the CD. He told me it was one of the best albums he had ever heard and that I should check them out. I then proceeded to download some stuff on Kazaa and upon listening, decided to buy the CD as well. It took me a few months since I couldn't find the CD anywhere, but one day in early 2002 I finally came across a used copy at a new/used music store and bought it. I saw them live in the summer of 2002 and they put on a great show.

As I mentioned, they've been on a hiatus. A couple of the guys are in a band called Abloom, I'll give you a link to their site if you're interested. I visit their messageboard every now and then and a few of the band members drop by every now and then, and one has dropped hints that the band may be working on some new stuff soon.

Oh and check out http://www.onesidezeroonline.com if you want. It started out as a fansite but it's the official OSZ site now. In the audio section there are two MP3's, one's called "One Side Of The Zero" and the other is a live cover of a Snot song.
