I am going to write a simple poem based on a video game charatcter and lets see if you can name it?

I have played second fiddle to you
yet I still go along for the adventure.
I don't get much recognition from the gamers as you
but Mr. Nintendo has let me start in two adventures.
I have seen you get all the women, money and fame but
overall I don't have any shame.

Certain places may refer me as an Egg
But in the end, I will try and try again.

Sort of off topic but not really...

Anyways, I read one of those Sonic comics in the Disney Adventures magazine when the Genesis first came out. Anyways they gave the origin story of Sonic and friends and how the fat Dr. became Sonic's enemy. Apparently he was named Dr. Kintobor and was Sonic's friend until some explosion caused him to reverse his name and become evil.

Heh maybe someone's read that comic, but I don't think its accepted as canon in the Sonic universe. That was some random trivia for you... Dang I really need some sleep =/

tank treads dont feel to hot
my weapons nearly useless
unless you massively use us
my price is pretty cheap
but you will need me
I have more expensive cousins
who specialize in different destruction

how about...
I've once been good but I've been tortured for long
Once I broke loose I ravaged destruction
Just me and my furry friend, who was chemically transformed
Now on the loose to save the town yet again
This is my 2nd appearance and I'm back madder then ever

^ ok, so maybe It doesn't rhyme, but I think i made this one pretty obvious... any guesses.
