Naruto: The Broken Bond - Gen. Discussion & Info

Yea i been tryin to download sasuke costume and it won't work for me either. I love the game though so far. The biggest improvement over the first naruto 360 game for me is now when you do jutsu's it shows u the different jutsu's u can do. I could never remember them and by the time I did i would fail and get pwned. At least now I can see it and it will help me remember.
Anybody not able to download the Sasuke costume you get for linking your Ubisoft account to your Live account? I've tried a few times since I got this on Monday and it gives me an error every time.

I'm liking the better variety in where you're going and what you're doing, but I'm sick of all of the filler. I'm 12 hours in and I'm just now heading out after Sasuke. I believe it was about 4 hours of filler from getting Tsunade back to Konoha as Hokage and then taking control of Sasuke as he leaves with Orochimaru's subordinates.
I cant get it either. This game is only longer because it forces you to do stupid fetch quests all the time.

This game has awful mission design.

The Tastuya fight was an insanely annoying fight because she cheats so much. I had her beat and down to zero time remaining on the timer and she manages to pull out that jutsu and kill me right there.

Edit: Got to the Rock Lee part of the Kimimaru fight and here's another example of stupid filler, as I take control of Rock Lee and get to Naruto's aid, which is stupidly unnecessary. All I need to know and see is that he's drunk and he kicks ass.

Does this game give you those extra lives if you lose too much (ala Rise of a Ninja)?

It's unlimited as far as I could tell. When you die, it just gives you the option to try again and/or change the difficulty.

I beat the final fight with
Sasuke
and he was very cheap as he could pull out his
Sharingan
or his special jutsu at will and the hint on how to beat his
Sharingan
wasn't in the normal spot that it's been for every other fight. The game definitely starts off great and kind of ends on a sour note in what should be the coolest part of the game.

I was talking to a Gamestop employee the other day and I asked him to recommend a good platformer for the 360 and when he gave me Naruto: Rise of a Ninja I was super surprised. I picked it up anyways (even though I had never seen the show) and instantly fell in love. I mean I feel like there are just so many different elements to the game with the quick time buttons, the 1v1 fights, the platform elements, that i never get bored.

Anways I beat it in like 3 days and traded it back for the Broken Bond. I'm about 20% done with the story and I'm having a freaking blast. I really wanna pick up the anime series now.
