Today a source on the Radio say that possibly that Nas will sign at Def Jam with Jay-Z as president but there are even more rumors that nas may even sign to the Roc. To me Nas at Def jam will get him more sales and pub, but a lot of backlash with other artists and fans. What does everyone think?
Nas has been crap since Illmatic, IMO.
So you haven't listened to It Was Written or Stillmatic?

Towards the Nas signing to Def Jam thing. It's been a rumor for quite some time now that he might sign there. I doubt it though, because of the Jay thing. In a recent interview he said he was looking at a lot of record labels, but he was thinking of starting his own (he says this on We Major). He says he wants to retire Ill Will's name and that he never liked the way they let him handle Ill Will. It wasn't like his own record label. He didn't have a lot of say, and couldn't sign anyone.

But, only time will tell what Nas will do. I'm eagerly awaiting his next album were he said he has plenty of Premier beats.
Jay-Z is a President at Def Jam...
Yeah, I know. But, back in my GFaqs days they said after Jay retired he planned to joined Aftermath.......

I was naivé:roll:
I don't care where he goes. Nas is Nas, I'll listen to his shit regardless.
Bump for this shit:
Jay-Z just brought out Nas on stage with him and they performed Dead Presidents...

Hip-Hop history made tonight.

Can't wait for the DVD.

They just performed Made You Look.

And now they are doing Encore acapella adlib!

Damn... I can't wait to see this.

There was a bunch of other guest appearences (P. Diddy & The LOX performing All About The Bengimens, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, Paul Wall, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, T.I.) , but this is what will make histroy.
Thoughts?
