NBA 2K10 + NHL 2K10 = $50 at BestBuy.com

I have 2K7. From what I have read 2K8, 2K9, and presumably 2K10 are not as good as 2K7 (according to the reviews I have read). I think NHL 10 (EA Sports) is the one to get for hockey.

I picked up NBA 2K10 for $25 from Amazon on Turkey Day, which I believe was the best Black Friday deal (well, the $1,000 Pioneer receiver for $500 would have been a better deal, but I am waiting for a HDMI 1.4 3D-capable receiver which should be out next year -- or 2011 when I will probably replace my 42" 720p Panny Plasma and Yamaha component video receiver -- a $1,300 MSRP RX-V2500, which I bought in 2006 for $500).
 
Man this is the only nba 2k10 deal this weekend. I always wait until BF to buy a nba 2k game because a patch comes out around nov or dec. Should i wait for a better deal?
 
i have been trying to get a nhl game between nhl 10 and the 2k10, but so many bad stories on the nhl 10 with freezing problem is kind of scary... i would say this is pretty good deal!

2K announced a second patch also.
 
Picked up a NBA 2K10 for $25 at Wally Mart on Friday. I toyed with not buying it - I haven;t had an NBA game since 2004 or so... But I went ahead and bit. I'll play it eventually - it's behind MW2, ACII and Forza in the queue. I should get to it around 2012...
 
NHL 10 has 3 advantages over Post Patch NHL 2K10. 1. Graphics, animations in 2K10 are probably better, but NHL10 looks better. 2. Career mode and its online iteration. 3. (Most obvious flaw for me) Controls. Sure, 2K10 has its own stick controls, but its no where near as good as NHL10. Those aside, however, I am finding 2K10 plays alot more realistic, its not a game of constant one timers and such. I like both, but 2K10 is def worth the $20 or well free if you're buying NBA.

Actually, Amazon had a Lightning deal for NBA 2k10 for $25 this past weekend.

I don't think it was lightning was it? They just marked it down for a while on the regular page, i could be wrong though.
